Cannot Detect USB Drives

I need help. My windows vista (Updated to Service Pack 2) cannot use USB connectors or other USB devices. It will prompt to install driver and when I clicked search online it will gone wrong and no driver or drive will available in My Computer.I also can't use thumbdrive or mobile phone which is plugged into usb port.

I just bought my logitech headset which with mic for a month. I just tried it on another computer and it work perfectly.
My motherboard is GA-M720-US3 and I have tried reinstalling driver to the latest driver.Restarting computer.Make sure the plug was inserted perfectly and updating my computer.But all of it failed.I hope someone can share me how to do it.This is the logitech headset I mean.It says it is compatible with skype and vista but nothing Happen.

Is it I can format the HDD (IDE) when using SATA DVD-ROM ? When the SATA DVD ROM plugged in,is it will be compatible ? No installation ?

Hey there,I just changed my pc to AMD Athlon X2 240,and mobo is Gigabyte M720-US3,after all wire IDE,Proc,fan and all connected,I switch it on and after all it wont start and the proc fan is not spinning,it is like no power at all, ,..Scree is blank and nothing ...

Now,the problem is I cannot format my HDDand it using IDE,got 2 IDE Drive in my pc btw,it is HDD And CDROM,hope ppl can help me...
