Hello Anyone , i am diploma student and require to do a mini project which is hotel management web system.

So i have some question need ask at here .

1. Is it possible apply the ajax with jquery technology to my web system , such as
receptionist insert a guest name or IC in the input field , and then the web system will auto dynamically generate the customer details and room
accommodation 's details without reload the web page .

or the receptionist will know the room and guest 's details when mouse hover to the room icon

Is it good to appy because some web browser doesn't fully support javascript and some of people will disable js feature of web browser .

2. Anyone know how to integrate crystal report with php ? i would like to learn this and apply to my web system .
Do i need any API or plugin , software to integrate xammp and mysql web platform ?

currently i only have a few question . hope all of you can answer my question . Thank .

sry , really not sure how to append the text file.
i want do like this

when open the text.txt , then i want append the file without affect or overwrite the data .
such as insert > eeeee 897

then the text.txt should be like the following

aaaaa 123
bbbb 456
ccccc 789
dddd 012
eeeee 897

hope you all can give me some tips , and i had tried many time since yesterday .
can write and read , but just cannot append , always overwrite the file.

i have already been faces this problem since last week .

the code is no problem , i have set the width and height of the panel .

and tried to update all the plugin that related with java development , but still fail to view the applet in the larger form .

Hello lowyat forumer , i have a big problem now ~ on my ubuntu 10.10 ~

i feel curious , maybe i installed on my hd and dual boot windows 7 and ubuntu ~...i know is definitely different compare with install by wubi installer ..

the case like this ,

after i go terminal , and type

sudo apt-get update and go update manager to update my ubuntu ~...

then restart , i realized the kernel ubuntu was changed ~...

bt some of the software and packages such as language packages , mpeg plugin and other i can;t download it ...

it pop up such like this error message ...

Hello , lowyat forumer .Yesterday i had downloaded the NovaBackup professional 12 .But i not really know how to use this software ~~.

Here is the following i would like to ask:

1.What is the different between Backup Wizard and Disaster Recovery Wizard?

2.If i backup all the data such like music , movie , picture ,files ,is it the backup is in the Novabackup certain format ?
So that mean i also need Novabackup to restore my data ~~(no other supported software)???

3.In the Disaster Recovery Wizard , what is Create boot media option ? just for boot the windows only in case my operating system cannot boot any more ?

4.How can i backup all system file ? that mean after reformat my PC , i no need install software again , just simple restore back ?can i do it ?

5.If my whole PC contain 200GB file include system C data ~~, so i also need one 200Gb free space external hard disk to store my backup data files ???

6.So , what i need to do ?i want backup C windows system file ?

hey , urgent here .

My hotmail account has been blocked .before i had recover back by insert the verification code , but still got people misuse my account to send the spam e-mail.

So , that ;s why my hotmail account blocked .I have tried to recover back with same method (verification code) but my friend carelessly deleted the verification code .thus , i can't recover back my hotmail account.

So ,got any solution ? now i want know the hotmail customer service number (Malaysia) and email , i want to contact with them .Anyone know , please help me here .Thanks .

flash help !different version cs3 and cs4

lowyat friend , urgent here ...!!!!

i finished my flash video , but my friend 's flash work is done by adobe flash cs3 ,but i wanna to combine their flash work woth my flash work .

The problem is i can't combine together . because different version , 1 is cs3 (my friend) and i is cs4 (my work).

So , got any suggestion about the flash converter ???next 2 day i will pass up my assignment flash work .Hopefully i will get the solution !

hey , i got 1 problen is about ip address change to domain name

i have installed the apacha software 3 months ago , for do the php tutorial , study purpose ,,,, now i would like to register a domain name for my ip address , so people just type url www.somethings then can see my file and view or download it ...

i have go many free domain web site register it , but it doesn't work ....

i m using YES broadband services , so no router .....

i mean after i registrer domain name , then i try to type www.litpang1989.com ....somethings liuke this ,,, the web broswer doesn't show my home server file ...so what is the problem ...is it port fowarding , firewalll , or need setting somethings i dono what is the role problem ...anybody understand what i expressed here or not , please help me ...i will appreciate so much if u share your idea and advice to me ...hope i can solve my problem as soon as porsiible ...thank ...

Hello Lowyat forumer , first i describe my current situation first .

i am IT student , course diploma Internet Technology , study at TAR College KL , got do part time job , work at PC shop as a sales executive .

as i know and get the information from my friends , most of them told me that that are not way for me to get the degree certificate except fly to UK to sit their professional exam paper.

some of my friend suggested me go to UTAR to get the degree certificate , and it just take 2 year duration .

Here i would like to ask somethings ,

1.IT course such like networking and communicate course and ISE (Information Software enginnering ) just available at UTAR kampar right ?

2.If diploma Internet Technology Course change to ISE or networking and communication course , is it i just take 2 year duration to finish my studies ?

3.CCNA and linux certificate is it available at UTAR kampar ? is it very expensive ? how about the cost ?KTAR ( free )i think ..

4.what kind of place KAMPAr ? is it super boring ? some people told me , that are no shopping mall , just got mountain ..hhaaa , got part time job ?

5. in short , which i should choose ? UTAR　degree or KTAR adv diploma ?????????

Hello guys ,i am using dual operating system ,that is windows 7 and Ubuntu 10.10.
i m interested with open source linux because i can gain a lot of knowledge and strengthen my IT knowledge .(i m IT student )
After installed new OS linux ,that are many problem such as can't connect to wireless connection ,can't get the cube desktop effect ,does't have windows decoration etc...but finally i still can fix the problem without help .Just put effort on finding information on Google and i learn it so much.
There are some question that are make me feel confuse ,,maybe i didn;t understand the reason.

1.i can;t share my file between windows 7 and ubuntu 10.10 ,and i had do many research ,anyone have a gd idea to troubleshooting my problem or guide link . i tried many times.
2.why some expertise linux modified the linux kernel ,as i know they wanna improve the system ,make it more stable and security ???
3.what is the most suitable programming software to install on ubuntu 10.10?( C ,C++,Java,) web programming (Html ,css ,java script ,php)on windows 7 i m using dreamweaver and notepad ++ to do all my web programming and jcreator for java ,microsoft visual studio to do C/C++.
4.Anyone can simply example the term of following words ,make me more understand.

hey guys ,i am looking the new android phone.

is it the sony ericsson X8 worth to buy?i prefer this android phone because the following reason

1.cheap ( market price rm 730 ?)
2.android OS 2.1 (i may try to upgrade to android OS 2.3 as well as possible after i get it ^^)
3.mini size ( i think is ok ,because i m using my old phone nokia 3500 so i satisfy with 3.0 screen size .
4.software and connectivity also not bad .

i also like to listen any advise ,sound from the X8 owner ,or those r hv experience use this phone .

Hello ,guys .Here somethings need to help .Is about VPN connection network.
I am plying online game iris , and i am plying at Taiwan client server.high lvl character
but suddenly i cannot login to taiwan server with correct ID and password .Then after 2 weeks ,annoucement release and the solution is set the VPN　connection network .
But i fail ,it can connect but after a few minutes ,it pop up error message ,no error code and
I tried many time and google it solution as well i can .But until now i still cannot solve it .
i don;t know what problem actually ?i just know i m setting VPN type PTTP connection network ,my friends can do ,they can play the online game again but i just can play malaysia server ..haiz taiwan server more interesting and i have a high lvl character with a lot of money .
Any solution and advise here .
is it security firewall problem ?setting problem ?windows problem or something else
One more information is i m using the YES broadband service .
or VPN type should set automatic ?
