[WTB] Router for Unifi

Hi guys,

Right now I am using the TM DLink wireless router (orange color) which has been more than one year and recently it seems that it has giving some issues such as hanging, disconnect my LAN connection, unable to access the admin page.

I was wondering that Im gonna change the wireless router but unsure what type of good quality router that I should buy?

Any idea guys? The router Im gonna buy will simply put the PoE username and password and I dont want to setup any VLAN such as 400/500/600 for the Unifi services.

Hi Guys,

Right now im working on a PPPoE configuration for Unifi to work with Juniper Firewall SSG5.

Currently, the setup is using:
DSLAM ---> HUAWEI HG655a ----> TP-Link Router -----> LAN

So now I were to change it to:

DSLAM ---> HUAWEI HG655a ----> Juniper SSG5 -----> LAN

As I know the TP-Link router will hide the VLAN ID while doing the PPPoE therefore we only input the username and password for unifi it will do the rest. But if we were to change it like in my case using Juniper I should find the pppoe interface to attach it with VID 500. But so far I could not find that option.

I have dealt the same thing using Fortigate and the Fortigate allow or has the option to attach VID into the pppoe wan (pppoe) interface.

Have you guys configured unifi with Juniper? If yes please share how you attach the VID.

Hi Diabloers,

I have an issue to access my account.

Previously my pc and mobile phone was stolen so I bought a new rig and install the Diablo III client on the new PC, when login it said the account is locked because access in different location so a verification code is sent to the mobile phone with this account.

Next, I go to the website sea.battle.net to change my mobile number under my account details then it divert me to us.battle.net

So i tried login in the us.battle.net but it said the account is locked for the same reason as above, I mean how am i supposed to retrieve that code since the phone is not with me anymore and it was stolen.

I have tried to look for the similar issue on the support and I couldnt find any and if I try to submit a ticket it requires to login which i could not login too coz it is locked.

So I am on a dead end now, is there any solution from you guys on how to solve my issue here?

Hi guys and LG distributor,

I am wondering what is the exact difference between these two models LG IPS234V and LG IPS237L.

I have checked on LG website and others articles, I think there is no difference on the spec wise.

What i found is only the bezel difference which the 237L is slimmer than 234V.

Is this correct or is there any difference others than the connectors?

Windows 8 Installation

Hi guys,

Im trying to install windows 8 enterprise edition.

The problem i had is when I was in the window to choose which partition to install my windows 8, when i click the Windows 8 partition (which i have created with 80Gb Free Space) the error state that there is not enough free space on the system.

In which I recognized what it meant was due to my system reserved partition has 100 MB with free space 5 MB. First, I know the first time installation of windows 7, it will help me to create this system partition with 100 MB size for boot files etc, so I was wondering if there any way to extend this System Reserved Partition without formatting the whole hard disk?

I have tried extend with AOMEI PA and windows disk management. Both does not give me results.

Any expert or experience has faced this issue before?

Problem details
First occurence of problem: The very first day of installation
Problem frequency: Everyday
Problem description: I have configured and installed my own belkin basic wireless modem router, and the belkin is already connected to the Internet because there is already a GREEN light indicator on the device itself. This belkin is located / i put in the living room, and i access to this belkin using my PC which is on my bedroom of course where the distance between it is only about 4 meters. First, i still not very knowledge about the a/b/g/n since this Belkin provide the N technology which has better speed and wider coverage compare to G, it is N150. So my question is that, why is the bar that i get is only 2 bars since this wireless router modem is already a very good device?
And my wireless usb adaptor is TP-Link TL-WN721N Lite N150 which also gives a 150Mbps.

Why am i not getting the full bar or lets say even 4 bars since it is very near distance and not so far.. Also i have opened my door but still the bars im getting is only 2 bars, sometimes even only 1 bar.

Pls ignore the downstream because i already called the TM to fix this problem..

Any help regarding the wireless bar is very much appreciated

Blackberry Torch 9800 back part warm/hot issue

Hi folks, yesterday i just purchased my brand new blackberry torch 9800 white (at&t handheld).

And after i on it, i did the initial charge wait for it to charge until full 100%

so after the charging is done, i did some update for the OS as well as some of the native app update and installed new apps..

And after all is done, i used it and only for a short amount of time of usage bbm-ing i felt that the back part of it is warm so quickly, i opened the back case and touch the battery, it is not the battery that is make it warm/hot but it is the below part that is very warm.

So i decided to put it a while for the next day to use, which is now..

And when i woke up this morning, again, i used it for bbm-ing, but the problem still the same..

Very warm on the back part..

Any idea guys what is the cause of my problem?

My OS version is v6.0.0.600 bundle 2647
BBM version 6.0.0.111 (beta version)

Hello there people, members, bb users and admin )

Here is my problem
on 1st Nov i reload 30rm for my hotlink acc, as u guys know hotlink bis daily is 2.5, i have been a hotlink bb user since october.
so for that 30rm i could have use up to 12 days for bis, for my bb i dun use sms or make calls coz i have a digi acc and am using digi acc to send sms and make calls. so before 12 rm my credit is already gone, i think maybe it's becoz im accessing the Foursquare app that i lost about 7rm, so at 9th nov i reload again 10rm, i wan to change to weekly package which is 28rm/week, coz weekly is included wap services that i think if i use this package so when i access the foursquare i wont get any deducted credit anymore.

Ok.. so 11th, i unsubscribe hotlink, i got the confirmation email saying that it is successful, so i restart my bb, but still it display EDGE instead of edge. so i checked my credit, WTH !! i got another deducted 2rm. so i wait for an hour, then it automatically change to edge... i think i need to restart it again so BIS server will refresh my bb. But then again, it display EDGE (remember, previously was edge) then i checked again, WTF !!! another 2rm gone.. i mean i got deducted about 10rm in total juz for restart my bb. So i called the hotlink CS, it said that my phone is attempting a wap services and gprs charges, so i said to him that i do not access any app or any browsing for that day 11th. End point, he told me that the problem lies on my bb setting. That i dun know what kind of setting.

So i fed up with this hotlink waiting for the signal change to edge again then i change my bb using digi acc.

So right now, my bb use digi acc previously was hotlink acc.
But then again, when i subscribe ON BB FD to 2000, it is successful, then i put my phone stay still on table and im going to bed, the minute when i woke up i see an sms saying Thank you to me that i have reached 5rm inet usage, WTF is wrong with my phonee...
Then i let it be, and then again this morning also, the same problem happen to me, an sms saying that i have used 4rm inet usage, and now my credit is left 0.03 rm..

I called digi CS, things he said to me is the same as the hotlink CS, that my phone is attempting digiwap services, so i ask how could that happen. He said he also dun know how but it's my phone setting. He said that usually blackberry phone is using blackberry.net but my phone is using digi.net for accessing the internet thats why i got the deducted balance..

So my question is can anybody pls help me how to change it?? any solution to give me?
I already lost like 30rm till today just for nothing and for something that i didnt know about..

How to track lost phone?

i was wondering is there anyone here in malaysia can track a lost phone?
i lost my htc diamond2 at sunway pyramid, on the video game beside the movie one
bad thing is i stll havent used it for 1 week..
so do u guys have any info about tracking lost phone?
