Hie Guys,

Although there's a thread on HTPC at Hardware Specialist but my intention opening this new thread just to grab as much infor on the parts i choose / or u guys can recommend me good with affordable price with no compatibility issues.

Alright, basically i have a budget at 4k~4.5k Max without adding LCD tv yet. Most important slightly Green =Save Electricity

1st Step = Choosing CPU hardware**
2nd Step= Choose a Full-HD LCD TV**
3rd Step= Might consider SoundBar (e.g Philips HTS1800/Samsung HT-810T etc) in later stage
4th Step= PS3 for BD player / games in later stage

** Highlighted in red = Will get at the same time

Firstly, usage will be more on watching movies/surfing n some minor gaming and most important is Energy saving *Green Environment*

A few outstanding specifications i dont really understand or differentiate:

--> Which Ram's do i go for? DDR2 or DDR3? Any major speed difference?
--> Value Ram or Performance Ram?
--> Power supply model. Extreme/True Power/ Real Power which serve a better "Energy Green"
--> Compatibility Graphic Card for hocking up 32" Full-HD Lcd TV ( I'm not a hardcore gamer) prefer with HDMI input that can support larger screen
--> Which Motherboard to choose so many series from Asus. Dual PCI/DDR2, DDR3 support? Sound issue able to deliver nicely n crips towards LCD TV?
--> Necessary to get Processor Cooler?
--> Lastly this is the challenging part. Cooler Master Cosmos Black Label or Cooler Master Stacker 830 nVidia

^^ Do i need to get Processor Cooler? CM Cosmos Black Label bundle with Hyper Z600 Black Label Cooler + Power Supply and a 120mm PWN Fan whereas Standalone CM Stacker only the case. I need to purchase seperately. So do need some opinion which case to go for? The Black Label or the Stacker?

This Green rig will be completed in middle of April or early May coz i need to survey on the LCD tv as well

Got my Pioneer 6850.

want to get components set this month.,

Looking for a above average set. rm 700 +-

Went to Audio accessories shop they recommanded:

==>Boarchman (hope correct spelling =I'm New) AL-170 series 6.5" rm780 (best price rm500)

==>Roger ABS 6.29 series 6.5" he say better then Boarshman rm980 (Best price rm 750)

==>DLS R6A good? need recommandation on this ...ppl selling in forum at rm 650.....state retail price at rm1.2k wonder is true anot? pls clarify.

I would like to know more on the SQ...not boom boom boom...

they guy say DLS godd on clarity sound..especially the tweeters.

Trouble posting up my work on blogspot

Hi,

I have been having trouble in posting up my work on blogspot, which I have originally created in Photoshop and Illustrator and saved in JPEG format. Everytime i upload it on my blog, it fails to upload (some kinda error or smth like that).

Can someone pls help me out on this, and maybe give me some tips on how to overcome this problem (or maybe suggest a better site to post up my work?). Thanks very much!
