I've decided to open a new thread to discuss the alterations that Logitech did to certain models of their mice since JohnLai had locked the thread he had originally opened, and also to give short feedback on the mouse i purchased on Lazada as I promised i'd do in the locked thread.

So, the mouse has just arrived, and here are some screenshots of it.

This particular store definitely shipped the older model, complete with the full Logitech lettering instead of the new Logi one.

There's also a green led light below the scroll wheel just like the older model had.

It definitely feels like the genuine article, no doubt about that.

Rumah ibadat baru perlu dapat kelulusan PBT

Kerajaan memutuskan sebarang pembinaan rumah ibadat baru perlu mendapat kebenaran daripada pihak berkuasa tempatan (PBT) dan mana-mana rumah ibadat tidak lagi boleh dibina di atas tanah yang bukan milik mereka.

Perdana Menteri, Dr Mahathir Mohamad berkata, perkara itu penting bagi mengelak sebarang masalah yang timbul pada masa hadapan, terutama apabila pemilik tanah menuntut semula hak mereka.

“Masalah sekarang ialah kuil dibina tanpa mengambil kira siapa pemilik tanah dan apabila pemilik ingin mengambil semula tanah mereka, masalah mula timbul.

“Ketika ini banyak kuil dibina di atas tanah milik pihak lain. Itu masalah yang sering kita hadapi sekarang.

“Jadi kerajaan meluluskan resolusi dan menetapkan syarat bahawa mana-mana rumah ibadat baru yang akan dibina selepas ini, perlu mendapatkan kebenaran PBT,” katanya pada sidang media selepas mempengerusikan mesyuarat majlis pimpinan tertinggi Bersatu di Kuala Lumpur, hari ini.

Dr Mahathir berkata demikian ketika diminta mengulas kekocohan di sekitar kuil Sri Maha Mariamman, USJ 25, Putra Height, Subang Jaya sehingga hampir mencetuskan ketegangan kaum di negara ini.

Ditanya mengenai kuil yang sudah wujud sejak sekian lama pula, beliau berkata kerajaan tidak dapat berbuat apa-apa mengenai perkara itu.

“Itu kami tidak boleh membuat apa-apa,” katanya.

Arrested: Man who keeps ‘losing’ iPhone

GEORGE TOWN: Police have uncovered a ruse to defraud insurance companies by a marketing manager who filed reports yearly claiming his iPhone had been stolen or lost.

He also sold off the “lost” phones online to make even more money.

Central Seberang Perai police chief Nik Ros Nik Abdul Hamid said the man’s activities came to light after officers sensed something was amiss in the suspect’s latest report.

The 34-year-old man from Bukit Mertajam had claimed that he was robbed of his iPhone XS Max, Apple’s flagship model costing RM5,399, by two men on a motorcycle outside his mother-in-law’s house near Bukit Mertajam on Saturday.

He claimed he also lost his iPad Pro, a MacBook Pro laptop and other valuables to the robbers.

“However, when we looked into his background, we found his prior police reports, which all had a similar pattern. Every report showed he had lost an iPhone.”

Nik Ros said after interrogation, the man confessed he had been dealing in iPhones and MacBooks on the popular lowyat.net forum for some time.

He said the man used to sell Apple products on the forum and had later reported them stolen to claim insurance. He said he would buy a new iPhone once he got his money from the insurance company.

His first report was filed in 2013.

“We went to his mother-in-law’s house in Kampung Baru, Bukit Mertajam, and found his MacBook Pro, which was reported stolen, there,” Nik Ros said.

The man later told police that he had sold the iPhone for about RM5,000 and his MacBook for about RM6,000 online.
