Where to buy this light?

My house owner installed 5 of these lights in the house. 3 in the living room and 2 in the bedroom.

[attachmentid=10072471]

But less than a year 4 of these lousy lights went kaput which includes both lights in the bedroom. I had to replace at least one of the light in the bedroom if not no light la in the bedroom.

I went to a few hardware stores but was told they do not sell this kind of light and told me to look at the lighting shop instead. Went to the lighting shop and glad that they do sell this kind of light but it costs me RM59 for one light which I think is freaking expensive.

[attachmentid=10072486]

I still have 3 more lights to replace. Where to buy this light at a cheaper price? I wanted to look for the light online but not sure what to search. LOL. I don't even know what you call it. LED light?
Maybank New App

The previous Maybank MY app when you open the app you have the options to choose Quick Balance or Maybank2u. The New Maybank App cannot meh? I hate the new app because it does not allow you to log in with different account e.g. your partner's account. Some more when you open the app straight away show your security image and security word. WTF.

No CCRIS Record No Hutang

I have never apply for any credit cards or loans before. Therefore I have no CCRIS record. Clean. My CCRIS record never existed.

Planning on buying a car next year. I was told that it will be hard to get the loan if I have zero commitment. It turns out that banks does not favor people with zero commitment. So just for the sake of getting my self a CCRIS record I decided to apply for credit cards thinking that it is the easiest way to approve. Boy was I wrong. I have applied with 3 banks so far and all applications has been rejected.

Out of frustration I even went to the easy peasy personal loan you know the one that promises on the spot approval. The officer even told me not to worry if zero commitment still can get max 3K loan. Guess what my application was rejected as well because of the same reason. No CCRIS record.

People have been telling me the easiest way to get loan is to apply for ASB loan. Honestly I do not like the idea of having to commit my self for 5-25 years paying loans just to finance my ASB. I know that you can terminate the loan after 2-3 years. But still this is the last resort for me.

So, any advise and help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

RM600 for paint job

I went to a car paint workshop to get a paint job for my sister's car.

He quote me RM600 for the paint job because they have to paint the whole 3 panel involved. So I cincai-cincai assume RM200 per panel - door, the middle one don't know la what it is called and rear bumper.

Jaw dropped and got heart attack a bit after hearing the price went back and start whining here in LYN.

Walauwey! Why so expensive? I have no experience with car paint/spray whatsoever. But I think it is damn expensive paying RM600 just to fix minor scratches.

I might be wrong here. That is why before I start bashing the shop, accuse the guy as a conman or claim I got cheated. I want to ask you guys here for advise.

A friend of mine suggested to send the car to be polished since it is just minor scratches and paint also didn't peel off. So polishing the car can solve the problem?

Thanks.

Credit card debt and loan when borrower dies?

A friend of mine had just lost his father last week to a sudden heart attack.

1st problem is his father has RM5k of credit card debt.
He plans on continuing to make payments to the card monthly as fast as he could until the amount is paid off.

2nd problem is his car was registered and insured under his father's name as well as the loan which was also financed under his father's name.
But the monthly installment was paid by him since he started working last year. He will continue doing so because it's his car, he's the one who's been driving it.

So for both cases what should he do? Should he informs the bank about his father's death?
He's afraid of informing the bank because he thought the bank might ask him to pay off the debt and the loan in lump sump.
What is the process/procedure to handle this kind of cases?

Thank you.
