Kakao and Animate jp account malaysia phone number

I want to register to sites above and they require phone number.

Malaysian mobile phone number is available to registered on both sites however when I filled in my number (format below) they say "A verification code cannot be sent to this number" and "invalid phone number".

Anyone else having problem and are able to register on Kakao and Animate Japan?
