In order to increase the durability, be quiet! has changed the capacitors of the existing series, Straight Power, into all Japanese capacitors and changed the fan into FDB fan. The new series is named as Straight Power Deluxe, representing an upgraded version of the existing series. The upgrade of the capacitors and fan is definitely helpful in increasing the product’s durability. By offering the same warranty service, be quiet! is trying to draw the attention from users looking for higher durability.
The power supply reviewed is 650W.

The front side of the color box looks the same from earlier version. The only difference is the addition of “Deluxe” and the silver label stating the product is adopting 100% Japanese capacitors and 12cm FDB fan.

In the back of the color box, it states clearly the number of connectors, and length of the cables. The tables of the output spec of those 4 models are also listed below along with various kinds of safety marks.

Inside the color box, you will find of course one power supply unit, one user manual, a power cord, screws and Velcro tape

Recently trying to look for a new fan for my chassis which is silent and cool. I am trying BeQuiet, a Germany brand. From brand, it sounds SILENT is the selling point.

SilentWings is BeQuiet new product w/ award from PC Games Hardware Germany and its developed by Germany with patented technology. Germany is a demanding country, its like Japanese in term of demanding as I know. Screwless, Anti-Vibration, 120cm, Under 17dBA, looks great.

Technical data

Sleek looks and color, I like the orange part for the rubber. 4 for the screw area and the circle for the touch surface at the chassis. Perfect.
