procedure to buy used car fr direct owner

Hi, I plan to buy an used car from direct owner. Need advise on the procedures.
1.seller get the clearance from puspakom
2. Both seller & buyer go to jpj to transfer name. What form to fill up? Can this be done without our presence at jpj?
3. After transfer to my name, only then can purchase insurance. Do I need to go to insurance office ?

Is there runner who to do all above including loan arrangement ? How much their fee ?

Hi all,
Need your live experience of these two cars in term of:
A). Handling
B. Comfort
C. Space (usable space). Is the extra 3 small back seats of estima really useful ?
D. Fuel consumption (crv 2.0 & estima 2.4)
E. Overall maintenance and reliability. Concern estima since it is grey import and Toyota kl would not service it and leave it to luck to find a good/trained & reliable mechanic

My needs/wants:
A. Higher/taller car to have better commanding view
B. Mostly used in city with 2 kids ie mostly 4 lax.
C. Sometimes travel outstations for Japan Japan/vacation

Neighbor leaky pipes damage my floor parquet

My bedroom next to neighbor bathroom.
Noticed my parquet floor is wet and damaged. Informed
Neighbor (few times) but no action taken and instead telling me not his pipes leaking. I am staying in terrace house.
Appreciate feedback what or how to deal with this situation.

i am very outdated when comes to mobile phones.
Appreciate your positive & constructive feedbacks of below few questions.

I looking for a smart phone which able to:
a. access company email from remote or anywhere (via 3G ? )
b. easily sync with MS outlook emails in office laptop,
c. Able to view pdf documents, word and Excel files.
d. with camera and music capabilities
e. prefer not touch screen as i find it hard to use
f. able to surf net from airport or anywhere bcoz always on the run..

my budget RM1200 ~ RM2000
is this Nokia E72 a good option ?

hello everyone,
after much "struggling" < choose 430EX or 580EX> and finally (last week) bought 580EX, with the mindset spending extra few hundred RM to buy those extra
features (like master capability) so that i would not regret when i need it in near future with my progress in photgraphy.

However, feeling kind of regret now as 580EX is heavy and bulky.....and make things worst is that
i cant understand or appreciate the advance functions of flash from reading.

suggestion of good website regarding flash photgraphy would be much appreciated.

Undecided 55-250 IS OR 18-200 IS

i m undecided over these 2 lens for my travelling (in Dec) need.
55-250mm IS or 18-200 IS ? Thanking you in advance of your advices..

During travel, i will take Landscape & macro on animals/etc.
IQ is important but convenience is equally critical (hate keep changing lens & missed the
important moment). Bugdet is less than rm2k. May consider sigma/tammy 18-250/270 if IQ is much better than 18-200 IS.

my gears is 40D, Tammy 17-50/f2.8, canon 50/f1.8 and old 28-105/3.5~4.5
(note: not happy with the sharpness of 28-105).

How to make MS-Word document into FILLABLE form

hi,
trying to convert a ms-word document into fillable type but run into difficulties.
this is how i do it:

1. Generate the document with MS WORD, leave the fillable area empty.
2. convert it into PDF format and use acrobat professional to create the text box for user to fill in the data.
3. the result is in PDF format and fullfil my need.

The Problem is when i add or revise the original document in MS Word <which does not have the fillable text box>,
i need to repeat the process of creating the fillable text box (which created earlier in above 2). The reason is bcoz of the fillable text box is not part of
the MS WORD document.

Question: is there a better way to prepare a document (form type) with FILLABLE (alphanumeric) and CHECKBOX ?

Hse in construction, who pay asses & quit Rent ?

who should pay the Assessment (MPSJ) and Quit Rent (Cukai Tanah Selangor) when the house is still under construction ?

Reason behind this question is that, there is not even road, address and services render by MPSJ, why shall there is an ASSESSMENT fee ?

[addedon]June 24, 2009, 1:43 pm[/addedon]developer is asking me to pay those assessment & quit rent, amouting few hundreds ringgits.

i guess developer shall pay the assessment as no CF yet, and it is fair for owner to pay the quite rent,
as the land title is buyer's name.
