Kerugian pracukai syarikat pembuat kereta negara, Proton Holdings Bhd telah meningkat kepada RM84.054 juta untuk suku ketiga berakhir 31 Dis, 2011 berbanding kerugian pracukai RM51.535 juta dalam tempoh yang sama 2010.

Dalam satu kenyataan, syarikat berkata prestasi yang lemah itu adalah disebabkan penurunan dalam jualan akhir tahun yang menyaksikan pelarasan jumlah pengeluaran dalam usaha untuk menguruskan kos dengan lebih baik.

Pendapatan merosot kepada RM1.432 bilion daripada RM1.833 bilion sebelumnya.

Sementara itu, pendapatan untuk sembilan bulan pertama turut susut kepada RM5.92 bilion daripada RM6.36 bilion sementara kerugian sebelum cukai ialah RM36.530 juta berbanding keuntungan pracukai RM134.3 juta yang dicatatkan dalam tempoh kewangan yang sama sebelumnya.

Pengerusi kumpulan Datuk Seri Mohd Nadzmi Mohd Salleh berkata keuntungan yang rendah itu dikaitkan sebahagian besarnya kepada pendapatan yang lemah yang dicatatkan daripada jualan domestik.

Proton group chairman Datuk Seri Mohd Nadzmi Mohd Salleh said the lower profit was largely attributed to lower revenue recorded from domestic sales.

However, he added that the unfavourable impact from the lower revenue was cushioned by a decrease in manufacturing overheads and lower administrative expenses incurred in the same financial period.

Heard a lot of claim that your car manufacturer car is super fuel saving but never reach the mileage claim?

Now in US people have win the case, and in this is a Honda Hybird which claim to get 50mpg by in the end only get around 30mpg by the owner...

Honda & others manufacturer will be in deep shit after this law suit win, sure a lot of ppl will going to sue them de.. Good luck Honda & others and please dont bullshit us with the high mileage claim next time haha...

The California owner of a Honda Civic Hybrid car has won her unusual small-claims court lawsuit against the auto giant over the vehicle's failure to deliver the promised mileage.

A Los Angeles Superior Court commissioner has awarded Heather Peters $9,867.

Peters opted out of a class-action lawsuit so she could try to claim a higher payment for the failure of her Civic to deliver the 50 miles per gallon (21.26 kilometers per liter) that was promised when she bought it.
Informed of the decision by The Associated Press, Peters exulted, "Wow! Fantastic."

"I am absolutely thrilled. Sometimes big justice comes in small packages," she said. "This is a victory for Honda Civic owners everywhere."

Peters, a former lawyer, hoped to inspire a flood of such lawsuits by the other 200,000 owners of the Hybrid Honda Civic model sold in 2006. She said that if all 200,000 owners of the cars sued and won in small claims cost, it could Honda Motor Co. $2 billion.

She launched a website, DontSettleWithHonda.org, and said she was contacted by hundreds of other car owners seeking guidance in how to file small claims suits if they opted out of a class-action case already filed.

The upside of small claims court is that there are no attorneys' fees and cases are decided quickly. Individual payments are far greater than in class-action cases.

Honda's proposed class-action settlement would give aggrieved owners $100 to $200 each and a $1,000 credit toward the purchase of a new car. Legal fees in the class action case would give trial lawyers $8.5 million, Peters said.

Legal experts had said it was unlikely that all owners would take the small claims route because of the time and energy involved in pursuing such lawsuits. But it was a unique approach that could have an impact.

Superior Court Commissioner Douglas Carnahan held two hearings on the claim in January.

Peters claimed her he car never came close to the promised 50 mpg (21.26 kpl) and that it got no more than 30 miles per gallon (12.75 kilometers per liter) when the battery began deteriorating. She still owns the car and wanted to be compensated for money lost on gas, as well as punitive damages, amounting to $10,000.

So thinking of buying hybrid anyone?!? I would rather own a modern diesel engine compare to this...

I just bought the Gigabyte 890FX UD-7 board not long ago, n now want to find XL-ATX casing. Does anyone know which brand or model of casing need to buy nowadays at lowyat or anywhere? Please post up some ideas..

Now left the casing... Where to get it...

Anyway does anyone know where to get Sata3 Hdd nowadays? My board can also support Sata3.. Prefer WD brand..
