I have an mpeg2 file from a DVD which I am processing with avisynth and virtualdub.

The output I need, if possible, is m2v so I can go back to a DVD.

I already know how to do that when using just avisynt, with HCEnc, but I don't know how to proceed with Virtualdub.

The script I wrote loads fine VD, but I am not quite sure what video compression to set, for instance. The file size is very large too and I am getting an avi file, not an m2v.

So that's my confusion.

The reason I am using VD is because I fixing the colors with VD filters, which are more practical than those in avisynth.

How should I proceed?
