I am curious on how well the rental property market are doing currently. Hence, I would to conduct a survey, how much are you earning from your property investment. I myself have a unit under construction unit that I bought in 2018 & I am planning to buy one more unit by this year/ next year for investment purposes. Planning to buy my first car but I'm split on which one should I take. I wanted to buy the new Myvi AD but my colleagues suggested me to buy a second hand Honda City. My budget is RM55k & planning to pay 10k dp & the rest will be loan.

I'm not very experienced in buying a second hand car so I think it's quite risky. Which one should I consider ? All my colleagues mentioned that the depreciation of a new car will just be too much. I'm really splt now .

If there any Ads on good second hand City with low milage please share in this thread. Thanks

I ordered a another one (US 13) & when it arrived today, again it doesnt fit .

I have tried all the shops but the largest size was always 11

Suggest a new bike for me

I'm planning to get myself a new bike below 250cc. I used to drive kapchai prior to this but the bike is just too old now so it's time to upgrade. As for now, I have been using MRT but I have to wake up 5a.m everyday to catch the first train to get to work, so I think having a bike will be easier. I have shortlisted this 2 bikes because they only require B2 License and it's affordable. In terms of looks I will definitely choose RS 200 however, I am not so sure about it's maintenance price and dependability. In terms of performance, R25 is definitely the clear winner here. So I'm pretty confused now. Help me K/ (Any other suggestions are welcomed as well)

Charging port hp HTC M7 rosak

Yesterday I found out my phone (HTC M7) cannot charge anymore so, today I went to a shop in Ampang park mall & a lady quoted a price of RM110 to repair it .
Determined as ever, once I reached home I googled and found out that the hardware (charging port for HTC one M7) only cost 7 USD in ebay (pompuan tu penipu scammer)
So, right now I'm here to ask fellow k/ experts ;is there any shop near Ampang park (or KL) area that offer a lower price to repair ?

I will be going for industrial training in next few months & I have got few offers
from many different companies but I managed to narrow it down into 2 .Right now in dilemma which one to go with so I need some advice

Consultation Company

Dept : Reservoir engineering
Allowance : RM 1600
size : small size & only been operating for 3 years (joint venture with international company)
Fresh grad pay : RM 6k

Petronas
Dept : Carigali
Allowance : RM 800
Fresh grad pay : RM 4k-4.5k

Both companies are located near KL & near my house so distance will not be a problem. Honestly, I would like to major in drilling engineering for my final year but I dont mind doing resevoir engineering work before making any decison. Info from real drilling engineers/ reservoir engineers will be appreciated. Thank you

My friend is a student in IMU & parked his car around 1.30 p.m yesterday (8/11/2014) in the specified location.
When he returned after lectures around 6.30 p.m , the car has already been stolen.

Malaysia as a developed nation ?

Lets discuss

so we have merely 5 more years to achieve our vision 2020 proposed by Tun.
Besides, the government has introduced Economic Transformation Programme (ETP) to turn Malaysia into a high income economy by the year of 2020.

Here's the criteria underlined to be a high income economy :

1)Gross national income (GNI) per capita above US$12,746 (Malaysia-10,513.71 USD (2013))

According to ETP, the program will lift Malaysia's gross national income (GNI) to US$523 billion by 2020, and raise per capita income from US$6,700 to at least US$15,000, meeting the World Bank's threshold for high income nation.

2) There are 9 challenges to overcome as stated by Tun Dr. Mahathir to achieve vision 2020

Challenge 1: Establishing a united Malaysian nation made up of one Bangsa Malaysia (Malaysian Race).
Challenge 2: Creating a psychologically liberated, secure and developed Malaysian society.
Challenge 3: Fostering and developing a mature democratic society.
Challenge 4: Establishing a fully moral and ethical society.
Challenge 5: Establishing a matured liberal and tolerant society.
Challenge 6: Establishing a scientific and progressive society.
Challenge 7: Establishing a fully caring society.
Challenge 8: Ensuring an economically just society, in which there is a fair and equitable distribution of the wealth of the nation.
Challenge 9: Establishing a prosperous society with an economy that is fully competitive, dynamic, robust and resilient.

IMHO, I think we can achieve no.1 but no.2 is very much doubtful. What do you think ?
