PSV First Gen Console (white JP set) comes with original charge, and box still there.

Age: 7 months old (3 more month warranty from one of the shop I purchase from Lowyat.)

Condition: Opened. Mint condition.
No discoloured on the button (usually white will get discoloured over the time)
A small dent due to the casing but it's not that obvious)

TF2: Steam Update Stuck

So. I encountered this problem few days back, and I've decided to google it.

The issue is that when updating Steam, it gets stuck at 10% or any other % and it does not go any further than that. I have found a fix from one blog. Solution is:

1. Download TCPView (Microsoft Sysinternals)
2. Run it and close the connection of steam by right clicking on Steam.

What this does is that it automatically fetches a new IP and if it still does not happen, do it again. At one point you will get a good server and then it will download it at good speed as well.

TF2: What's Highlander

Different between PUG and Highlander match.

Pug is 6 vs 6 player , where each team have 2 scout , 2 soilder , one medic , and one demoman. Highlander in the other hand is 9 vs 9 player, where each team play each class. In highlander, victory is relies more on effective strategy than individual performance.

Class role in Highlander .

Let start from the first class, the baby scout. Scout in highlander sadly is one of the hardest classes to play effectively thanks to their low health and the require to do precise aim to get kills and stay alive. Although the highlander environment map is big also means scout have hard time to corner their enemy. What Scout normal does in highlander, is pick out low health enemy like sniper and spy or aiming enemies that running for cover. Due to scout low health and his Scattergun which only powerful in close range, direct attack is consider an idiot way to die in highlander. As Scout in highlander like his name , mostly do scouting and stay alive and scouting some more , cover they medic from in coming scout or crazy jumping soldier.

Soldier

The soldier in highlander are less rocket jump cause soldier can be pushed back very easily by few bullets , which the enemy heavy and enginneer will be happy to supply. Also due to having pyro around and pyro have the power to push soldier back with his jedi power. Thus our manly soldier is related to a support role, jumping the enemy medic when he CAN and trying to pick off weak targets or defend his teammates and MEDIC when he fail to jump on enemy medic. Soldier also act as medic front man from incoming soldier or scout. Basically solly is the front line army however he can’t solo all the way to the front.

Pyro

Pyro in highlander is not just about W+M1. The pyro in highlander is far more important, sticking with the medic (28/7) engineer and sniper from spy or scout. Also pyro with his jedi power reflect back any incoming projectiles that may harm his team mate and also ambushing scouts. It’s a very important role for defensive and protecting the teammate.

Demoman

Demoman is one of the powerhouse class in tf2. For that reason, demoman be limited to 1 in pug and highlander. Demoman is responsible for preventing capture of points by covering the point with his sticky bombs. The demoman also expected to contribute a large portion of damage to the enemy team and get kills due to his stickybombs having enormous explosive range and his grenades being and effective form of spam. Demoman like in pug or pub or any game tf2 offer, needed to destory sentry.

Heavy

The heavy is the class that highlander game revolve around; he is the medic b**** ( pocket ) and the ideal defense wall against jumping soldiers , demoman, scout and pyro. Also he is a good meat shield. A good heavy gets in position to lead the charge against the enemy team and has awareness of where his enemies are, calling out if they are low on health or attempting to flank. With heavy 450 health on max heal and with 200 bullet to shot at 20 second, it is a good idea for surprise close range attack. Also good meat to block his medic from headshot.

Engineer

The engineer in highlander is much like the pyro and is charged with defending his teammate with his sentry guns as well providing key secondary healing and extra ammo with his dispensers and attempting to build teleporters to get his team mate to front lines. Engineer also can be use as attack using his small sentry for quick attack.

Medic

Well medic be medic, HEAL everyone on his team. Medic normally the one that call for attack due to he is holding ubercharge or kritzkrieg. Use either one is up to the team, for fast attack is always kritzkrieg due to it fast charge up then uber or the other way around using uber for quick attack and quick get away.

Sniper

The sniper in highlander, what did they do? well sniper be sniper, focus on eliminating the enemy sniper first. Sniper in highlander also giving cover for they teammate and report back to they teammate about their enemy position.

Spy

The spy always the ******* who do the dirty job. Spy in highlander can be tiebreaker or tide changer by backstab enemy medic and engineers. Or stabbing the entire groups of distracted group. The ability to be invisible and disguise giving the spy to easily slip by enemy defence and at enemy line.

Game Format

The maps played in highlander is widely rang from king of the hills map to 5CP, Attack/Defense, payload , and capture the flag mode. Meanwhile most weapon unlock in highlander is allow, only few recently released weapon in tf2 is be ban in highlander.

So now you might have a few idea what highlander are BUT wait there more. Each class in highlander have this JOBlist need to be done. There such thing as JOB LIST in highlander. But highlander like pub, we derp too. So what this job list i was saying, okay let’s break it down for each class:

Scout

Your job is to protect medic from incoming scout. That your first job list, if that is done or the enemy scout too scared to come, then you free to do 2nd job list. Find and kill enemy sniper or spy if you find him. This protect your teammate from be head shot or back stab. If that done, then you can do the 3rd job list, do damage on the enemy medic and demoman. This does not mean that you rush to medic and die doing it. NO mean NO. You do some damage to the medic or demoman enough to make them back up to find health pack or so. This due to medic slow attack and demoman hard time to fight in close range giving scout the edge to do some close range combat and stay alive by doing so. If this done right, the scout can call they teammate to finish the job like as for a soldier to kill the low health medic and demoman combo.

Soldier

Due to highlander only allow one soldier, soldier in highlander can’t always go solo and die like a boss. Soldier in highlander first job list is to be medic meat shield from incoming enemy soldier or scout. If the enemy soldier and scout is nowhere to be found, then the 2nd job list come in. Soldier do some rocket jump to high land and do some damage on enemy medic or engineer sentry. Due to soldier easily reach higher ground, they can always become the eye for the team and also do some damage on enemy team and sentry. If that done, then if the soldier is good enough to get behind enemy line, then he can do his 3rd job list, do a surprise butt sex attack on enemy sniper , medic and demoman and come back ALIVE or die mostly die.

Pyro

Can’t say much on this guy. His job is spy check , protect teammate from enemy surprise butt sex attack and reflect incoming kirt rocket or anything other than bullet. Push back incoming uber. Or the pyro have enough balls , push back incoming kirt.

Demoman

Demoman in highlander have a full of job list, first of all he needed to put damage on enemy team, demoman is the tie breaker, a good demoman can kill all the enemy team with one kirt push. Demoman also needed to take down enemy sentry gun. There so much to say about demoman job list but most of people already know it. Spam shit and do damage.

Heavy

Like i say earlier, heavy is medic main b****. He is there to protect medic from incoming scout and soldier or pyro. He is the meat shield of the medic. Heavy don’t go around much so his job list is not that much either. Heavy also only go around when there’s uber in hand. Normally heavy can be use as spy check as well.

Engineer

Engineer like always , job list number one always set up all his stuff. Teleporter is the must, but upgrade it is not. Sentry need to reach lv3 before the enemy start come out from their base. So leave your teleporter lv1 is always the smart choose , only upgrade it when engineer have the free time. Placing engineer sentry also important, always recommend to put on high ground where the sentry can guard the team mate and also guard the area as well. Sentry that can see 360 view is always a good place to put at. Engineer that using gunslinger can is different story, he only require to put his mini sentry at a good place and upgrade other building and replace his mini sentry again if destroyed.

Medic

Well that medic is a self explain job list. Stay alive, keep the uber or kirt coming , stay alive , stay alive, keep uber or kirt coming , avoid get damage and continue form the top

Sniper

Like i say earlier, sniper first job list is kill the other sniper, If that done then the 2nd job came in. Kill the medic and demoman or provide cover for his team mate.

Spy

This guy is snap enemy sentry which is what he build for. Then backstab medic and demoman. After that he can do what he do best, Stab some more.

Important to take note:

Highlander is more to effective strategy and each class can make a difference for the victory or lose. So staying alive at all time always the good idea.

Hi there,

I'm here to propose an idea of mine which have been in my brain for quite a while. I'm personally fan of Proton, and I've been lurking around forum about proton, google-ing, or youtube about it whenever I'm free.

I've actually asked myself a lot of question like, why they come up with the engine, how they made their first engine, is it true that proton wira is actually made in collaboration with Mitsubishi? I can't however find that information easily, although people would say google around would get the answer easily but I would like all those information, in one site.

And my proposal would be actually start-up a dedicated wiki page for proton, or perhaps also Perodua, or even better almost all the malaysian car maker. Because fact is there's still a lot of history behind proton and their cars. I bet you can't find ALL of that in wikipedia.

And this is just my humble idea, if you think this is ridiculous or stupid just walk by and leave this thread clean.
I just wanted to recruit or perhaps know people who are dedicated enough to write articles in the website itself. I don't have much knowledge about Proton even though I've done some research on it. I can however provide webhosting and install the wiki script, my concern is only the content part.

Perhaps in future we can also become, one stop center for all the Proton fan-club.
Again this is just wild-idea of mine.

So yea, don't be too harsh on me. Comment please!

I've problem with my Komputer 1 Malaysia. Few months already and it's being good. I like using it. But I've problem with it recently when I tried to switched it on, and the screen just show black. I tired to look around apparently the "backlight" not showing up. The LCD working. (I guess) cause I can see the LCD when I looked it tilted. Soooo what should I do? I've the 1 netbook not for a year so I guess it's still comes with Warranty? Where should I claim that?

Desktop Random Crashes

Hi, I've been facing this issue quite few times and my desktop is just like 2 days new.

It happened randomly and when i stress test it using my EVEREST in the middle half way it just crash. and same error

Gamefest 3 - Console Survey

Greetings, I am currently in charge on Gamefest 3 console division's.
I am planning on the competition to be held for the event day and need some feedback on it.

The confirmed competition will be held is Super street Fighter 4 ( tag team ) competition. with 32 teams of 2 players. Any suggesting to it?

And is there any more competition that I might put into my consideration list of helding it? Previos year of Need For Speed Shift comptition the respond is not that good so I am going to cancle it.

Question about online radio

I am NOT sure if it's a right place to post this though it's combination of technical/software/technique issue soooo my bet is this section.

First of all I am an amature webmaster for some random forum. Recently we plan to start our own online radio based on certain theme.
I am using
- Ubuntu 10.04
- SHOUTcast Server Version 1.9.8 ( server side )
- SHOUTcast DPS plugin ( winamp player )

The questions i wanted to ask are.
1. It's for amature purposes but I encouter some problem when tried to play with the winamp's plugin, my friend complaining that there's lots of background noise when listening to the radio, I've tweaked it and found out that I've two microphone ( one build in one that i am using as headphone ) I am quite newbie in this kinda stuff, sooo maybe I've messed up the line in or something like that.

2. Is it possible to code a custome page which it shows the detail of the song played aside from the dull default page that being given. The reason I need to use it cause the people that I'll be talking to is mainly chinese and so I'll need to code a page which enable them to understand.

3. I heard there's lots of software/enchancement for radio DJ related stuff, and having special effect so on any recommanded software?

4. My laptop is limited with one microphone jack but I am doing with a partner where he have also another micrphone. Is there any other way to have both of us talking at the same time? like buying an extra microphone jack?

That's all. I'll be grateful if there's people who are willing to help me.

I was trying to.. have a few chat with my friend before a random guy..
"prolack225@live.fr" added me in the msn.
I was stupid sooo stupid that I approved it.

So yeah I approved it and ignored it. I continue to chat with my friend. Few min after that i receive a mail in hotmail ( a pop up in msn showing that i r eceived it). It's what yahoo... or whatever mail. It's my secondary mail.
Then when i tried to sign in. I can't. So I know something is wrong. I tried to have some chat with him.
