Met this guy bout 4 months plus ago but only got close to him 1+ months ago.

He asked me out and he's very caring in the office.
When i work late, he will help me out with my work (advice) and stay back.

I am unsure of his feelings as i feel i'm not a matured type of gal for him.. he's 27, i'm 22.

Initially i felt he was playing around with me, so i did not respond to him..in a positive or negative way because yes, i am attracted to him.
He's never had a girlfriend before, so all the more i'm unsure of what his actions mean.

Last wednesday, via sms he asked if i'd allow him to hold my hand/kiss me...i told him that i only kissed 'special guys'...
he said 'special guy like who? like me?'
i replied him 'u have to ask, then u will be the special guy'
his reply was 'then i won't ask, cz i know i'm not the guy u want..goodnight'

The next day, he asked via instant messenger in the office if he could be my special guy...but i requested him to ask 'sincerely'...(on hindsight..i'm kind of regretting it)
His response was ok...when time is more mature.

Last saturday, he asked me out on a date (in his words) and bought me a birthday gift which cost him RM100+ which said something to me that he might have serious intentions.
He asked if i was happy, i said yes, and he asked for a kiss on the cheek.
I again said i don't randomly kiss guys.
And this time, he said he doesn't randomly become a girl's 'special guy'

Sunday..i didn't hear from him.
Monday..also nothing...

And today...i sms-ed him in the morning (good morning msg)...but the same...cool reply.
Even my colleagues asked what happened between us.
I don't know...honestly.

Guys..what are u looking for after a situation like this?

sorry, i realise i left out the part where i felt i let him know he had a chance.
note: 'i felt'....

I have made the biggest mistake.

When i was in a relationship with my ex...i was unsure of him, he was very much into commitment and to be honest, that scared me very much.

During our relationship, whenever we fought over the smallest matter, more often than not, I'd try to win in the situation by using 'let's break up'...

That is my greatest mistake ever, taking him for granted and now, after tolerating my shit for a year and a half, he has asked for a break up and left.

I didn't know what i had until i lost it, and now i just wanna get him back with me, to show him i really love him, and i'm willing to commit to being with him.

I begged for a chance for a whole week after we broke up, he said, "who knows, maybe after my exams.."

So i waited, i still texted him and wished him good luck in his exams, after he finished with exams, i waited a week, and asked him if i could have another chance, this is almost two months since we broke up.

He told me that he just wanted to be friends, and that he doesn't want to be dumped again, and that he's emotionally drained.

We were together for a year and a half, my first relationship, his 5th.

I must add that before we broke up, he had been close with a girl friend of his from college for 3 months, meaning calls for more than an hour during midnight.

After we broke up, needless to say, they got closer.
So as a friend, i asked him how were things between him and that girl, he said they were close, and that the girl might be a potential future girlfriend, but for now the limit was best friends.

And, during the time when we broke up, we met once and he kissed me, not a chum kiss, but only the kind shared between a couple.

I don't know exactly what to do, am i reading signs that we have a chance again? or is it over?

What can i do to get you back, if you were my boyfriend?

Please advice me.

An update of what's happened.

A close friend of mine told my ex a week ago that i've been sent by my company for training overseas.

I guess that's why i've been receiving strange msges from my ex telling me to take care and to eat health supplements ove that past few days.
Also, he said that if i were to ever need help in anyway, he'd always be available.

i asked him if he was ok n why he said that, cuz i didn't knw what was going on.
i got no reply.

but the next day, he asked me how was work, where wud i be working during the next week..
was i at home and other msges that i think probably was to link to me tellinghim i'm going overseas.

once again, coz i didn't know what was happening, i was confused.
this time, i just didn't reply cz i didn't know what to say.

i have not heard from him since....which is bout 2 days ago.

after my fren told me what was said, i realised the reason for those msges asking me to take care...
i was about thinking that he sent those msges to tell me to leave him alone n go on in my own life.

my fren also told my ex i was leaving the day b4 his birthday.

i am not going anywhere.
i m as before, just in kl.

should i tell him my fren just played him out?
what can i do?

all this happen within a time frame of 5 mins.

i had managed to avoid the place where my ex works for 3 days, but today i had no choice but to go pass that place.
i saw him, engaged with a customer.

instead of being thankful and walking by...i instead walked on straight, bought a bottle of iced water from the shop a few doors away from where my ex works and walked back to where my ex was.

he was then on the phone, i plonked the bottle on his table where his customer was also seated, he saw me, looked a bit startled (cz he thinks i'm overseas), but smiles.

i just waved n walk away.
after that, like maybe 5-10mins later, my ex sent me an mms, him holding the bottle of water.

he just said thx for the drink, sorry he wasn't free to chat..happy working, n drink more water.

1.30am..
my ex calls me...i ad went to sleep.

but when i answered the phone, he instead called for a diff reason.
apparently there's someone i know calling him n harrassing him in the middle of the night.

he gave me the number of 'my fren', but this number is not in my phonebook.
my ex says this person has all his contact info n has been calling non-stop.

i called the number n the phone was not picked up.

aiks.crapful of mess right here.

okay...i might get this all wrong.
this is so messed up.i dun even know if there's a way to make anything right again.

rmb the mutual fren that told my ex i was going overseas?
mutual fren told my ex i was going overseas...but by another person.

mutual fren bought a sim card, texted my ex that he's my close fren, told him i'm going overseas n also, with this 'close fren' persona, told my ex stuff bout me...apparently trying to patch us back together.

in my opinion, this fren has made matters worse.

this fren confessed all to me moments ago, telling me to mnot tell my ex who he is.

WHAT M I GOING TO DO!!!!!!!

my ex just called me.
i told him that the person will not disturb him again...
but, my ex told me that i either disclose the person's identity, or he will find out who that person is by going to the service provider centre and checking or will lodge a police report.

i told him, go ahead, do whatever u need to, i promised not to tell.

The phone line is registered, totally without consent, under my name.

This is a mess….wat to do now.
