http://forum.lowyat.net/ Wed, 10 Jun 2026 10:29:05 +0800 FeedCreator 1.7.2 http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/964872 Hi,<br /><br />for those who just update to ITunes 8.1 and sync their iphone, you MIGHT see any update similar to this (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1970) <br /><br />my advise: DO NOT UPDATE&#33; <br /><br />i have updated it and i have a iphone 2G. <br /><br />after i have updated it and i cant browse using my EDGE anymore and worse, when i go to GENERAL -- NETWORK , there is NO MORE EDGE toggle&#33;&#33;<br /><br />for those who (like me) who have update it.<br /><br />below is my fix.<br /><br /><br />1) SSH and GO TO root, go to /USER/LIBRARY/Carrier Bundle.bundle (Note: is USER, not USR) <br /><br />2) SORT the list by DATE MODIFIED. you then see the LATEST MODIFIED THAT ON TOP. <br /><br />3) choose the latest and open it. <br /><br />4) if you see a folder, MAXIS_my.bundle, BACKUP the folder to ur hdd 1st<br /><br />5) then delete then folder.<br /><br />6) cross finger, pray and reboot. <!--emo&:sweat:--><img src='http://static.lowyat.net/style_emoticons/default/sweat.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sweat.gif' /><!--endemo--> <br /><br />7) once reboot, you shld able to see the edge toggle RE-APPEAR under General - Network. <br /><br />8) Set your APN, for maxis is : NET, Maxis and wap.
