Monster Jobs - Paid Services, worth it? useless?

Hey guys, figured i should post in kopitiam too to get more attention lol.. i did posted in jobs & career too..

Anyway, i have just recently updated my monster job portal and added 10 years of experience, with senior management roles.... then received a call from Singapore offering me their paid services, with discounts, totalling to RM800++... just wondering if it's worth it? or should i just ignore it...?

Or in other words, are those paid services by jobs portal (linkedin, indeed, monster, etc) worth it? anyone uses it and got positive feedbacks?

PC auto shutdown, CPU overheats at 100s celsius

Hey guys,

I'm currently having problem with my 1-2months old pc build. Since two days ago (thursday), my PC randomly auto shutdown UPON boot. That's like, turn on PC, only for it to auto shutdown few sec/mins later. What I noticed is in HWMonitor, FANS is missing FANIN1.

Ok here's some information:

*SYMPTOMS*
a) upon boot, fans are running at high speed and noisy.
b) after a couple of seconds / minutes, the system auto shut down.
c) restarting the pc still same.
d) System is during IDLE, right after boot. no softwares running, no overclock/underclock, all stock

*ANALYSIS*:
a) upon boot, open HWMonitor, noticed the temperature is rising to 100s. When the temperature hits 115 celcius, the system shuts down.
b) In HWMonitor, there should be 3 fans name under FANS : CPU, FANIN1, and FANIN2. Whenever systems overheats, it was missing FANIN1.
c) only when FANIN1 is visible, system and cpu temperature is normal (35 - 69 celsius during IDLE)
d) not sure how to recreate the symptoms, seems random.

*POSSIBLE FIX*
a) Turning the PSU off and on, does seems to fix initially. After normal session, shut down, and boot PC, sometimes the overheat comes back.
b) Normal restart/shutdowns doesnt seem to always fix the issue (FANIN1 missing/visible)
c) however, off and on PSU is highly possible of bringing back FANIN1)

Estimation price to fix loose/popped up tiles?

Hey guys,

I'm wondering how much is the price to fix loose or popped up tiles? There are few tiles that are either loose, hollow or popped up at the center of the room, posing danger to my family and kids..

I've attached some pics of the affected tiles. I've covered them with carpets for the moment, but I think got 1 or 2 tiles broken d due to being stepped on..

Anyone knows how much, and any contacts around Kl/Selangor (im at gombak)?

Or would it be economically better to change to spc flooring/laminate? Cost to remove oldntiles plus install new one, worth it kah?

COVID Test only compulsory for foreigners? Local?

Yo guys, need some clarification on the Covid Test (Saringan Covid). Is it only compulsory to Foreign Workers?? Most of the SOP stated "pekerja warga asing WAJIB menjalani saringan covid".. means only foreign workers ke? if local no need ke? I read SOP CIDB also said like that, KKR also said like that.. no specific point mentioning about locals have to undergo covid test too?? if got, can point out to me ahh...

I need some strong documentation to show to subcon. They're saying that only foreigners compulsory.. then showed me these files lol... so i also pening how to counter when asking for their local workers test result....

I found for socso, employer can claim 600 per person per month, with condition of to not retrench, fire, paycut the employee.

I cant buy the battlepass since im playing on malaysian account, but the disc is r2.. Tried buying the addon instead the in-game store, managed to purchased 200points for rm8 (for testing purpose), but its not appearing in my game credit. So donno what to do now..

Why build more and more when there's no demand? This is already proven like 5 years ago, that demands are low.. but until now, many are still building.. yet no one's buying...

Whatsapp Web always sending Document as ZIP files

Hey guys,

I'm having a hard time sending document files (excel, word, ppt) using Whatsapp Web.. whenever i sent it, the recipient will receive it in ZIP file, and can't open it.. Sending a PDF file works just fine.. but i need to send document in excel or word, not PDF..

Just bought a new Dell Vostro laptop with Windows 10, using Office 365. never had this problem before with my previous laptop..

Anybody can help? Try searching in the internet, none came out with solution...

Is it my laptop? is it Office 365? is it Windows 10?

My wife's saga flx, the digital clock always getting slower and slower lah.. Today set the clock 10 minutes faster, next week, clock becomes same as current time.. then the next week, -5 minutes than the current time..

Changed to new battery also sama.. does it have separate battery for the clock?

[UNIFI] Why different people paying different amt?

Just wondering, why are some UNIFI customers are paying less/more than others for the same package, or even paying less for higher package than those with lower packages?

I've tried to vet through the UNIFI thread, but somehow I got lost in the hundreds and hundreds of pages

I'm currently subscribed to 300mbps (RM139 after discount) with aneka plus RM30, totaling up to RM169, or 179 after sst..

But i've read there are people with 500mpbs or even 800mbps paying the same amount, or worse, lower than me.

And i've read there are people who managed to lodge complaint and ultimately reduce their monthly fee. How is this possible?

But most important question, how is it possible in the first place, people paying up different amount for the same package, same everything?

sorry if it has been discussed extensively, or if there are existing threads about this. If there are, kindly point me to the direction, and i shall close this thread. But i hope i won't get redirected into the general UNIFI mega thread with 200++ pages lol... lost track which page i was reading for sooo many times...
