Support Engineer in telco industry

Dear all dai kor and kakak,

I am currently a RF engineer in operation team of a vendor company servicing for a telco operator company. Life have been very much hectic and the jobscope is very much repeative testing and checking and analysis.

then currently now i'm offered a position as support engineer from other operator company and the benefit and pay are much more handsome and will be working in NOC environment.

the question is, how far would i go if i took this position as i'm worrying that i wont learn much and stuck there forever?

do you guys think i should stay in my current position which i most likely will be able to get into planning or optimization team in a year or 2 time.

or venture to a whole new working environment which i'm not certain of where this career path will lead me to.

No Consideration period is given for jon offer

I'm fresh electronics engineer, I went to an interview and received the offer one hour immediately after the offer. But I have a few more interview lining up and I would like to consider about it but the HR said no consideration period will be given and the position will be given out immediately if i reject the offer. The salary i got is RM 2200, for telecommunication engineering, how is the salary? is it low?

Anyone work in ZTE?

I juz had one this monday, they said would call me by this week but no news... i'm hoping i still have a chance.

Application Status in Jobstreet

Hi to all the big bro and big sis out there, I am a fresh grad and juz started job hunting!

I applied a few positions tru jobstreet and I have been eagerly checking out my application status almost everyday, but then i found out that it is not always helpful!

like for one of my case, my application status is shown as "NEW" and my resume shown as viewed 0 times by the comp but yet i recieved call for interview. And my major concern is the status "IN THE PROCESS", i can see that there are candidates who are shortlisted by the company under the category "UNDER CONSIDERATION" while my status is still "IN THE PROCESS", if I am not shortlisted then shouldnt my application status be "UNSUCESSFUL"?? but if i were short listed, will my application be "SHORTLISTED" or still remain at "IN THE PROCESS"??

I feel so stupid to check my status eagerly every morning (coz i notice that the update is not via real-time but they only update it on next day early morning) if it's nth to bother about. any opinion on this???

By the way, any good suggestion for job hunting beside jobstreet?
