ODBC Driver Manager problem

First and foremost, let me apologize if the topic is not named correctly as I dont really have knowledge about the error.

So I am trying to use this software called xpert highscore plus on my Windows 8-64bit PC. It's a software for material phase detection. You do a scan using a machine, retrive the scan and match with standard database. The software is 32-bit.

The software installation requires two installations:
1.The program itself
2.Database for the program.
Both installation went well with no problem. After installing the program,u need to point the program to the database location. So i did that and everything. The problem starts when I'm retrieving the standard from the database. The program is able to list the standards that I want to open, but everytime I want to access it, the following error comes out:

[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] The specified DSN contains an architecture mismatch between the Driver and Application.

The pattern does come out after the error but later when I want to use a specific function of the program that utilises the database, it would either force close or freeze indefinitely.

I googled the problem but it seems like there's no specific solution relating to the program. The other thing about configuring odbc drivers seems a little to advanced for me. Don't wanna mess with things that I know shit about. But I did peak around in both 32-bit and 64-bit odbc data source administrator but to no avail. I think the database is stored in a Microsoft Access file with the extension .mde, but the closest I could see in the odbc drivers are .mdb so I don't know what to do.

Can anyone help me? Would really appreciate step-by-step layman explanation to me on what I should do as I'm not really well versed on this.
DELL S2240L vs S2340L vs BenQ EW2440L

I'm looking around for monitors for my PC and am currently interested with this three.

Saw one seller selling S2340L at LAZADA for rm499. That is very cheap right?

Apart from the viewing angles, is there any other significant things to consider when discussing IPS vs TN?

would the colour difference be really noticable?

Want to ask opinion

Hi guys,

Wanna ask your opinions on a few things.

1. I'm currently conflicted between buying a PC and PS4. Really tempted to buy a PC but the place that I'm staying right now doesn't have any internet nor would I be able to afford one any time soon. Since I saw a lot of the games nowadays require internet connection to play even tough it's not an online game, that kinda make me rethink whether to setup my own rig or not. Even for steam, you have to be online or else you cannot play your games right? (correct me if I'm wrong) For PS4 you can just insert disc and then play regardless of internet connection. But still, there's still a part of me who really wants to buy a PC. Maybe if you guys have different perspective on this one it can help me in making the decision?

2. As everyone probably already know, the ringgit has reached a new low today. I'm not economy savvy, but it seems like the ringgit is dipping a bit too fast? Would it effect the price of the PC components by a lot? 20-50%? more? If it is the case then maybe I should make the decision soon.

3. I browsed the rig suggestion thread looking for build suggestion and it seems that most of the processor being suggested is in the Haswell gen (4th right? as denoted by the 4XXX in product name). I am very noob about computers and only recently took interest because of wanting to assemble PC so I want to ask, why is that none of the Broadwell processors are being suggested? Because I saw in my sister's laptop is already using the 5th gen processor (5XXX in product name, correct me if im wrong). Is it because of price or got problems? Also, how is this reflected in the future since I just read that Intel just introduced the 6th gen recently. Wouldn't it make the 4th gen processors look very outdate??

Hope to receive clarification on the above matters.
