Option/Alt key not working when reboot

I have a strange problem with my mac mini 2012. I installed bootcamp Windows 7 to my 1TB HDD, it's working perfectly and then I set my default startup disc to my SDD which contains the Mac OSX Mountain Lion.

The strange problem is, when I have an USB 3.0 external hard drive plugged in to the Mac Mini, I won't be able to select the booting option by pressing "Options" or "Alt" key on my wireless keyboard, it will just boot into Mac OSX. However If I unplug the external HDD and reboot again, I could select the booting list by pressing "Option" or "Alt" key....

Anything has the same issue as me and know why is this happening ?

Hi guys, I've RM2k budget and would like to build a new rig myself for casual gaming (NFS, PES 2010...etc) and with longer lifespan and upgrade potential in the future before those hardware spec phased out.

For this 2k budget, I just need to buy the followings:
1) Mobo - Asus P7P55 ??
2) Processor - i5 750 ??
3) RAM - Team Elite 2x2GB 1333 Mhz ??
4) Graphic Card - I've my heart on HD5770 now
5) PSU - ??
6) Casing - around RM300-400 simple and nice aluminium casing, prefer Lian Li

I don't need these:
1) LCD Monitor (Already have 24" Dell)
2) DVD rom
3) Harddisk (plenty of them...)

Please suggest me the best combination, thanks !

ASUS UL80VT vs Sony VAIO VPCCW15

I need to buy a laptop for my gf and I need some opinions...

I've been doing research on many laptops but had my eyes on Asus UL80VT or Sony Vaio VPCCW15 now because I'm attracted by their appearance.

Usage: Internet surfing, Watching movies, and my gf like to play games like Sims 3.

I almost decided to get the Sony but after reading comments on it's CS series problems I have to consider again, is their lappy really that unstable ? how's their after sales service ? and I'm not sure how's their temperature when playing games.

I like the lightness of Asus UL80VT and its design too, just that I'm afraid the CULV SU7300 processor cannot play games like Sims 3 and so....although many says that its build quality is not really good, but they provide 2 years warranty and good after sales service.

So basically I'm looking at these points: After sales service, design, temperature, at least can play Sims 3 smoothly, quality (keyboard, screen, speaker...etc), and battery life is not the main concern for me.

Which will you choose if you're me ?

What is the brand you guys recommended ? I heard many bad things about V-kool ..... how about RayTech ? There's one shop selling Raytech near my house.

Color different in Adobe photoshop ?

Help ~! When I open my photos with Adobe photoshop, the color seems like more warm and nicer, but if I open with normal windows photo viewing application, the photos are more pale and not so vivid

Anyone has this problem also ?? How to solve this ??

Wireless A/V transmitter

Does anyone using wireless transmitter or devices for transmitting A/V (NTSC, PAL, etc) signal ? I would like to use it to transmit my Astro signal in living room to my bedroom.

If you are using one, please tell me the price, brand and where to buy it, thanks ~
