Recycling old washing machine

I'm planning to get a new washing machine and vacuum, but I'm not sure what to do with the older ones. Planning to upgrade because the old ones are not working well. Anybody knows if shops can help take them away and if they do, do I get something like a cashback or discount for them?

If not, anybody know the contact for people who can help take these item away?

Additionally, how about sofa? If there's a service that can repatch the old sofa that would be helpful, else contact on people that can move them away would be fine too.

I'm planning to ship some stuff which weighs in around 100kg from KL to Sarawak. What's the best way to ship them? I doubt using the normal poslaju or fedex and such would be cheap, hence asking for recommended freight service (assuming i'm using the right term here). tried checking a few and can't find any companies that list their pricing and i have to personally enquire.

also if you can advice on the steps or procedure for the said service. thanks

I've been searching for Chipotle sauce on supermarkets but to no avail. I did once found one. Waitrose Chipotle in adobo sauce. Rm15 for 90gm but it was so damn worth it.

There's also La Costena, but even then some stores don't sell them. So anyone knows where to source these? Love to add them in my sauces

Note that I'm not looking for sauces that are already mixed with Chipotle like Tabasco and such. Just the Chipotle sauce.

i upgraded my 6s+ to 11.2 public beta 2 and suddenly lost my service after the update. i thought it was sim card problem, but tried on another phone and it was working fine. doing a restore backup and phone reset didn't solve my problem weirdly. so i'm guessing the update fried my radio for whatever reason.

how much would a repair be usually? or maybe if you guys have any other solution would help too

Lens cleaning service

Looking for a place to clean some lenses from dust and also removing fungus on one of my lens which is the canon 70-200

also what is the price for lens cleaning and fungus removal? saw one stating canon service center helps remove fungus on lens for rm120, which is much lower than i was estimating. but asking if there are some other that can give lower pricing

Missing APN settings?

I'm currently using iPhone 6s+ version 10.3.3 and I'm currently trying to find the option to change my APN settings. However, I couldn't find that option for some reason.

I checked Apple's guide and it said the settings are located at "Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options > Cellular Network" or if outside of the US "Settings > Mobile Data > Mobile Data Options > Mobile Data Network". In the first method, I couldn't find the last one, the "cellular network" and as for the second method, I don't even have "mobile data" settings. Anybody know of a possible solution to this?

Hotlink Music Pass

I just found out that there's a unlimited music pass for rm3 for 1 day and rm3 for 7 days. I tried to find more info on the app but nothing comes out and searching on the website yields no result either. Google "unlimited music" only shows up their CRT service.

Anybody know what are the conditions of these unlimited music passes? What service does it support, like spotify, Apple music, Google music, youtube maybe? And what are the speed provided with the pass? Is it really unlimited or maybe limitation to the speed or data or maybe period of time? There are so many missing info it's worrying.

Anybody can share any info? That would be really helpful

Phone has been rooted and is using ViperROM 6.1 (which comes with android 6.0.1. Bootloader has not been unlocked. Phone runs very smooth even with it's small RAM and outdated SoC.

P/S : I'm just surveying the local price for a used M8 here and the pricing is probably of old pricing, so I'm not sure.

UPDATE : Trade canceled due to availability of a Nougat ROM now. Thanks for your interest. Will probably put on sale again in the future.

Hi, want to ask a few questions, being a new Hotlink Fast user :

1) Is there any restrictions on the monthly passes data? I read some users mentioning half of the data subscribed can be used with 3G while the rest can be used with 4G or LTE.
2) I read some saying that if I fail to renew the monthly passes (maybe due to not enough credit in the account), I could lose the free 2GB weekend data promo. Is this true?
2) Is the free youtube promo a "activate once, activated forever" promo?
3) Is the free spotify premium promo a "activate once, activated forever" promo?
4) I accidentally subscribed to the free 7 days spotify premium before I subscribed to hotlink's free spotify premium. Will that affect anything? Will it be better for me to create a new account instead? I received a message that my current spotify is using the free 7 days of spotify premium

Not sure if the above story is related, but how can I contact eBay US?

This early morning, I got a phishing mail saying my "bid" (in the story above, I "bough", not "bid") for the exact item was cancelled and I was confused.
Then a few minutes later, I got an email from eBay saying my account was suspended for suspicious activities, which I clearly did not do. Earlier that night, I was just browsing some lenses.
Thinking if my account (and PayPal's) were compromised, I proceeded to change my passwords.
However I still need to contact eBay to explain for the ban. I tried to contact eBay UK because they have a chat system, but they can't do anything because they can't manage US accounts.
So the problem is, eBay US only have phone customer service. I'm more worried about the call charges to be honest.

TL;DR : Got my US eBay account suspended for unclear reason. Any way to contact them other than phone call? If not, how much call charge is applied?
If you have any experience dealing with this issue, please advise me on this mater. Thank you.

Did we get scammed?

So yesterday, me and my sister were shopping in Putra Sunway Mall. After a while, we rested at the bench in the centre of the mall, near the Kung fu panda promotional site.

Then this one elderly with his family including his wife, son and one OKU child. Like usual scams, he starts out with his talk about his misfortune of the day. His car got broke into and he lost everything. The guy said he was from Perak.

I know this was very suspicious and my sister knew it too. But one thing that made us lean to believing them is that they look pretty well off. I mean, unlike usual scams, they wear like people who are broke look like. But this family wore properly. The old guy and his wife wore like what normal people wore, the son, who looked like in his 20s was the trendy one and the OKU child was on a stroller. So instead of wearing like poor people to invoke sympathy, this family looked like legitly got robbed/mugged.

So my sister still being a bit suspicious handed rm50 to them. If they are legit, at least we gave them a bit of help. But if they are a scam, at least we didn't give too much.

TL;DR : saw a family that looked like legitly in trouble. Gave rm50. Got scammed or not?

Dell Monitor Repair Help

my Dell monitor just died a few days ago. i thought it was the cable problem, so i tried changing the cable but it still didn't work. so i concluded that it's dead.

should i send directly to Dell for repairs(it's almost years old, so warranty isn't an option) or maybe 3rd party fixers to check for the problem and maybe even cheaper rate. if it's the latter, any company recommended to try?

So I have this reeeeaaaaaaally weird problem with my HDD. it's a 1TB HGST HDD.

So it happened a few weeks ago, about 2-3 weeks iirc. My CristalDiskInfo gave me a warning sign saying the HDD was in a "Bad" condition. Upon checking, it stated that the "Seek Time Performance" was bad.

So I rushed out to get a new HDD, a 2TB WD RED and made a backup of the HDD. Before that, I swapped out a 2TB WD HDD(Not sure what model it is though. But I got it from WD MyBook or something). Feeling lazy, I just left the WD RED inside while keeping the older WD disconnected but still inside the case. During this whole time, the Hitachi didn't make any problem anymore.

Fast forward a few minutes ago, I swapped back the older WD HDD with the WD RED(back to the original configuration) and guess what, CrystalDiskInfo gave me an alert saying my HGST is "bad" again. Upon checking what was the problem, it was the same thing. The "Seek Time Performance" is bad.

So from a quick guessing, the older WD is not compatible with the HGST HDD? I'm not sure how is that even possible? So I wanna ask if you guys know what is this problem and maybe how to deal with it. My idea was to "accidentally break" the HDD (of course not physically smash or or anything) and send to RMA(RMA ends on January 2016). But I wanna know what you experts think of my situation.

A Question About RHB Savings Account

I'm new to this bank and only got interested about it when I had trouble with my PayPal account when I needed to put money in it. Being the only bank that supports PayPal at the moment, I was thinking of opening an account.

A little background a bit. I've only used CIMB since the first day I got my savings. I only use CIMB to keep my money and use their Kwik account for online purchases. I've never done any OTC yet because I never found a need for it yet. I take out my money from the ATM quite a lot in a month because I only withdraw the amount that I need and not in excess. Being a student, my savings account isn't much for now, but will change in the future. I use Kwik to buy stuff online, like Amazon, Kickstarter, Steam, etc. I also do a lot of transfers online.

So I browsed their website to check on their savings account. There were quite a few savings account and some were confusing. The best that I could understand was MaxSaver and Basic Savings account. Can anyone help me differentiate between these two other than what's listed on their website? Planning to use this as a backup savings account other than CIMB mainly, especially in the farther future.

Another question would be that I want to apply for a debit card. It is to be a backup in case my Kwik card has a problem. Which one would be better? The key differences between the the Cash Connect and the normal one would be the cash back. As someone that does a bit of online purchases (like once every 2-3 weeks at most), would it be worth it to apply for the Cash Connect? Are there any other key differences between the two not listed?

And finally, please do share your overall experience with RHB bank, especially if compared to CIMB services.
