My snails are kept with aquarium plants to reduce the algae in the tank and on broadleaf plants.They are planted tank safe and will not eat any plants unless there is no algae left. I occasionally feed them some algae wafers and blanched cucumbers.

They can be kept in water lily or lotus pots in direct sunlight. They will help reduce algae and keep the water clean and clear.

Excellent health. Very active.
Not scared of human contact. It will walk on your hand if you catch it.
No cracks in shells.
Full solid colour. No white lines of calcium deficiency.

Let me tell you a short story:

I am a working person so I have no time to take care of high maintenance plants.
I can't even take care of myself, want to take care of plants.
You think I so siao is it?
So I chose plants that require very minimal attention.
No special special ferts, no CO2 injection, no dunno what lights, no Takashi Amano crazy expensive soils (why the soil so expensive? I cannot understand la), and no chiller (electric bill so high). Yet, they grow so fast that I have to sell some of them off.

NOTE:
- ALL PLANTS WILL NOT COME IN A POT.

Hydrilla verticillata is a very versatile and hardy plant. It can grow in almost any condition.
- Can be grown in substrate or as a floating plant to provide cover.
- Can be used as breeding material (I've use it for breeding golden panchax and guppies)

Short: 10 - 12 cm
Amount: 25 stems

Suitable to be planted into substrate. For planted tanks or small fighting fish tanks.

Long: 20 - 22 cm

Suitable for medium sized tanks.

They are all in very healthy and thriving conditions.

PLANTS

1. Variegated Arrow Head Vine (Syngonium podophyllum)

It has beautiful green foliage.
It can be planted directly into the ground as a border plant or to cover sharp unsightly edges. (Does not do well in water-logged soil)
As it matures, it will produce vines and it will creep. You can grow it on a pole (picture 3) or you can put it in hanging pots.

It does very well in half-shade or indirect sunlight. The leaves will be dark green and large.
In direct sunlight, its leaves will be “whiter” and it grows much slower and leaves will be smaller.

Fertiliser: mulch (compost grass and dried leaves)

Plant height: about 1 foot +

It can climb and looks very nice as a foliage plant.

RM 5 for 1.
RM 18 for 4 bags.

2. Elephant Ear Plant (Alocasia marcorrhiza)

Beautiful glossy leaves. It has started producing white flowers.
It can grow up to 4 feet high under proper care.
It can be a centrepiece in your garden or propagate them along the wall or fence for the tropical forest effect.
Does very well in nutrient rich soil (lots of decayed plant material / dried leaves).

Plant height: about 2 feet +

Flower buds.

WHY:
1. They are very useful. They eat algae, leftover food debris, dead plants and fish
2. They are very cute.
3. Small size (max: 1.5cm), easy to care for.
4. Have snails available all year round to maintain your tanks.

After a month. They grow very fast.

Very low tech plant. Not fussy. Very hardy.
No chiller, CO2, special lighting needed.
Will grow in any substrate, or without substrate.
Fast growing plant.
Suitable for planted tank, for breeding tanks, for raising fry... etc.

I have extra so selling off some.
