New Prepaid SIM Setup While Roaming (BIS)

Hi Guys,

I will be going to Indonesia soon and would like to get your advice on getting a new local prepaid simcard for BIS overthere. If let say, i get a new prepaid simcard overthere for BIS, what will the process like once i insert the sim to my bb phone?Do i need to do all the settings again? Will i loose the local(Malaysia) sim settings when i return to Malaysia?

Maxis Blackberry Roaming

Anyone tried the Blackberry Roaming from Maxis before? Care to share? Is the charges reasonable?I will be traveling soon so would like to know before i subsribe this.

RM20 - For Monthly Subsciption Fee
RM15 - RM35 per MB depending on your location

Sent Item appeared in my Blackberry device

Hi Guys,

Just wanna check with you. Recently, i have discovered that any email sent from my gmail account via laptop will appear on my Blackberry device. Previously i have never received sent item in my device. Do you guys know anything about this? Will this effect my plan coz im using the BIS RM40 plan. And if i would like to stop this how do i get this done?

Blackberry Logo Went Missing

Guys,

Im using BB Bold. And for the past 1 week, i am having problem where the Blackberry logo beside the 3G signal went missing. Sometimes after i reboot it, it will appear again..And after a while, it will dissapear again? Anyone with this problem before?Not sure whether it is problem with the network or simcard or even my device..

Maxis BIS Data Usage

I am using Maxis Blackberry Entry level package - RM40 permonth which provides a 5MB Data Plan. My question is how can i check my usage in the bill? Will it show the usage? If yes, where can i find it? I've called the Maxis helpline but they cant even help me. I need to know my Blackberry Data usage so i can know how much is my usage per month. Is the Maxis Internet services in the bill represent the Blackberry data usage?

YM/MSN/BB Msgr + Facebook Application Charges

Hi Guys,

I just got my Blackberry activated using Maxis Entry level-RM40. Yippie!!!

But i got 2 question here.

1st
Is there any charges to use YM/MSN/BB Msgr? Or it is actually free to use as much as u want? What i understand before is that the YM/MSN/BB Msgr will be charge if i exceed the 5MB. But when i call the Maxis CS, the CS told me that the YM/MSN/BB Msgr is free to use as much as i want and it wont efect my 5MB limit. But when i call Maxis CS again to check with another CS, he mentioned that i will actually get charged if the my YM/MSN/BB Msgr usage hits the limit of 5MB. So can anyone confirm this? Which one is correct?

2nd
What i know is that the Facebook application will use my data plan - 5MB. But is there possibilities that it will charge to SMS? Coz after 4 days, i've check my unbilled amount and the charges is RM15 already. And when i checked with CS they said that i have not exceed the limit. Most of the charges if for SMS. And as i remember i dont use that much SMS. Any idea on this?

Sorry coz i still new with this BB thingy..Need your expert advice..
