An Interesting Finding on BALANCE TRANSFER

I had a few extra cash so I planned to payoff 1 of my credit cards and balance transfer another to it.
The amount is 7500.

Current offer was 3% upfront and it was 6 months interest free.
Which meant from RM7500, 3% upfront is RM225 and monthly payment is RM1250

So interestingly enough, I though what if i pay every month the same amount as the BT plan. What would the interest and amount be?

This was what i found out.
FYI Bold cell is payment made each month. Bottom lined cell is Total Months payoff; Total interest rate amount; Interest rate p.a.

So....in reality the BT plan is not 0% interest free, its the same amount of interest rate that you pay off each month.
If you take the 6 months paying constantly RM1250 the Interest rate is actual 3.2% , about RM241.50 !

Just makes you think back about the offers that banks do

Tried already at parking office klia but they no layan new staff...tried company also but priority to cabin crew only :sad:
