wanna ask something about printing

Usually on regular mobile phone, no matter how many megapixels it has, the pic at 100% crop is no match to standalone camera right?

Let say i has a 3.2MP cameraphone, and i wanna print some of my pics that i think worth enough to go shop for print,
some of them i think quality ok lah, and some of them contains sentimental values.. (worth it for printing)

unfortunately, the pics only looks good after downsize to 800x600 and below. (using good software like FastStone viewer which resize them without losing details)

and for the record, i just wanna print to 3R or 4R paper only.. so picture resized to 800x600 shud be enough rite?

because last time i already printed at shop small number of pics from my phone and it looks horrible (different from what i see on my phone screen and pc)

dunno whether it's their fault or my camera fault...

So, shud i sent the shop the original 3.2MP picture straight from the phone or send them the already resized one?
I'm thinking to print about 99 pics from my collection..

what u think of it?
i heard imageshack if registered user (for free) can store unlimited amount of image? (1.5MB size per pic)
and bandwidth is 300MB per hour for every single pic..

For picasa 1GB maximum. (free)

Flickr (free) 100MB per month, (but can track back 200 recent images only, must delete the most recent to handle older pic)

For lowyat forum image, i dunno lol

Record video from Front CAM

In last days, some users make questions over recording videos using front camera of K850. See below a tiny tutorial of how record videos in front camera.

Do not exist option for create videos of immediate form, but is possible force this through of MMS message, in truth, only in alternative method for make video calls.

Step by Step:

1) Open contact list and select one number which do not can receive video calls (residencial number or any other), alternativelly, you can set your cell for work only with GSM data.

2) Over contact choosed, press options and select "Make video call" (first option). This action shows "Video call not available" information, showing also three options, between new options, have "Send video msg", choose this and press OK and record your video with front camera.

3) Saving Video: After record your video, click in "Send" and screen of MMS editor is showed and if you desire save, click in "Back" option and choose "Save message".

Attention 1: terms of options on text can be slightly different in your phone.

Attention 2: videos in this mode have a maximum duration of 32 seconds (firmware limited).

I simply make video call to my other maxis number (simkad only, no phone) and this number dun have Voice Mail..
So, no telco charge for me using this method.

Alert! SMS not saved while playing media

I dunno if its just my phone.. The story begun like this.

I was listening on my mp3 on media mode. Suddenly a friend of mine sms me. Using new number.
The sms pop-up menu show up in the middle of the mp3.

So i choose "Yes" to read the sms. After finish reading so i choose "Back".

Because i was in the middle of media player, so i decided to close media player and go to inbox to re-read the sms and save the number as i forgot to save just now.

But IT'S GONE ALREADY! Like never enter my inbox!

Then i decided to put a test myself cos i am so confident i never press "C" or delete the sms.

I sent myself an SMS, quickly go media then, read the message, press "Back", after that exit media and go to inbox then POOF! no sms!

I test it like three times already.

For normal sms (not in the middle of media while sms received) is ok, no problem at all!
