how to bypass proxy?

in office, i have these problem of blocked url. im not sure how but some website that i used to go is blocked suddenly. let's say im surfing some gaming website, then less than 1 hr it's blocked. i suspect IT dept did something. Are they monitoring me or is it automated? some website (eg facebook) by default is already blocked. im wondering if i do some online banking, IT dept might be able to get some private information.

is there any firefox add on that can bypass these proxies? im using AWB proxy. it's free but it's usage is quite limited, need to pay to fully access it's capabilities. do u guys have other recommendations?

just bought a new lcd 24" monitor....i notice while reading text wording like in forum there is some bolded letter(ie. slightly thicker alphabets) sometimes is whole word/ sometimes some letters in the word ......something like below

"rules and regulation"

the problem is very random....is it monitor problem? anyone have similar problem?

the resolution is 1920x1080p 60hz....

just connect samsung lcd hdtv 32" as my pc monitor via hdmi/ dvi cable...

however it cannot achieve its optimal resolution of 1360 x 768 as recommended by manual...this results blurry text

setting in window only allow 1024x768, 1280x720, 1600 x 900 & 1920 x 1080

is there any software that can help to achieve the optimum resolution? anyone has similar problem ?

i am planing to buy new 22" widescreen lcd. i saw this at viewsonic site. is it available at lowyat? i need to know if my gpu 8800gt can support the 1080p monitor? has anyone bought it or similar type? nowadays watching HD/ bluray stuff, will the monitor improve the image?

recently i saw my cousin using itune on his macbook....quite nice interface and got photo album...can anyone recommend a good itune alternative?
i have been using winamp for a long time but i feel like changing now

anyone tried the amd mobo with 780G chipset that have integrated gpu...stock graphic speed around 500Mhz
can also add another pci graphic card and run the cross fire mode...i want to ask have anyone tried this feature and whether it's good compare to regular stand alone pci graphic card

throttle body problem

my proton wira aeroback 1.5 auto have this problem recently...i start the car for a while then the engine stall
so i went to mechanic and ask him to clean the throttle body, check the air filter...then when he put everything back and tune it with a computer device he said the circuit board in the throttle body going to spoil already...so he advised me to wait until it complete gone then change a new one....

my question is which circuit board he's referring to ? i ask him izzit to throttle body that he clean b4 that...see this picture

if that's the one i want to know the price range for a reliable/performance brand other than proton...

personally i dun feel like waiting for the thing to die out...so i want to change it asap

which one is better in terms of performance...a low end intel core 2 duo cpu or a high end amd 64 x2 cpu?

for example... between core 2 duo 2.2 ghz e4500 (rm 400) vs. 2.6 ghz amd 5200+ (rm 365)?

my pc use for normal application like surfin, simple games, watching movie.....my cpu budget should be around 350 or less....any recommendation?

bridge connection problem

ok...my office just got a not-so-high-speed internet & we are trying to set 2 different network 1) lan connection (for printer, file sharing) 2) wireless internet on the main pc using 2 router

there is direct printer connection to the pc so by using lan others can print but then after the wireless connection got in i have to disable the lan to access the wireless network and vice versa...this is bcos we have 2 router (dun ask me to use 1 router) but if i am correct bridge connection can solve this problem

...and we tried setting up bridge connection for window xp on the pc where the
so that others can use the printer and i can surf net simultaneously

after setting up i cannot surf net nor ppl can print ...so how to solve?

core speed changing?

i overclock my cpu e6750@2.66 ghz to 3.2ghz (8.0 x 400 bus speed) then i use cpu-z v1.42 to verify it
in the begining it shows the correct value i.e. multiplier 8.0x 400Mhz bus speed and then almost immediately changes 6.0x400 Mhz

so my core speed drop from 3.2ghz to 2.4ghz!

can anyone explain why the multiplier changes?

i am using gigabyte p35-ds3p, core2 duo e6750

i dl direct x 9.0c redist and after extraction i run the dxsetup....but nothing changes my direct x is still 8.1...actually it's 9.0c i just roll back to previous version

so my question is what to do after running dxsetup?
