Made nine years after the groundbreaking animation classic Ghost in the Shell, Oshii's cyberpunk journey continues in this sequel.
The story begins in 2032, when Japan is inhabited by the dwindling race of humans, purely mechanical androids, and cyborg. Like public security officer Batou, his body is fully artificial and the only remnants left of his humanity are traces of his brain and the memories of a woman called Motoko. One day, he is sent to investigate a series of murder. The perpetrators are apparently the gynoids - androids made in the form of young women, used as sex dolls - that have malfunctioned. Batou thinks he is getting closer to the truth but it's until he runs into Motoko that he knows the truth is far beyond his knowledge.

Bank Standing Instruction Charges

I was just going through my Public Bank account history and I realised that the standing instructions charges the bank is charging is so ridiculous. Going through their website:

Public Bank's Standing instructions Charges

Within branch RM2-00 per item

Interbranch transfer RM5-00 per item

Payment to third parties RM5-00 per item plus postage

Payment to Third Parties - Enhanced Standing Instruction (ESI) RM3-00 for each successful ESI

Unsuccessful attempt on the instruction date due to insufficient funds RM5-00

PB Brightstar Savings Account Waiver for transfer of funds from parents' account subject to a maximum of RM1,000-00 per transfer

Can you imagine paying RM5.00 per standing instruction transaction even though your loan and savings account is the same bank but it's not the branch holding?? Crazy!!! I think I have to just be hardworking and pay my loan manually. I thought standing instructions are all computerised so I can't fathom the costly bank charges. It's as if they are discouraging customers to use their service.

However, Maybank seems to be promoting their brand and service effectively.
