Colour pencils

Hmm... I've been thinking of investing in some new colour pencils to satisfy my art cravings.. Well, can somebody explain to me the difference between Prismacolor and Faber Castell? And which is more better? I do more of fantasy images and portraits as my main form of art... If that helps. And if possible.. Let me know how much and where to buy them thanks!
