Hyundai Matrix 1.6A ABS Brake Problem

Hi everyone,

I am driving a Hyundai Matrix 1.6A 2003 made. Two days ago, I faced a problem with the brake. When I pressed on brake pedal, it has overshot compared to normal level. It is like no pressure at all. However the brake works.

Hence, i sent my car to workshop today, where the foreman told me that the ABS pump has leaked, and making the master pump leaked also.

Option 1: Find a 'kereta potong' ABS pump spare parts which has no warranty, parts only will cost RM900. Plus workmanship will be around RM1300.
Option 2: To bypass the ABS system and makes the car with normal brake system only, which will cost around RM900.
Option 3: Change a new master pump and see if the brake system works. ABS pump will still leak and affect this new master pump until either one broken. Cost RM200.

The foreman did said that my car is unsafe to be on the road. However, from my feeling through driving this few days, the brakes are working well except the brake pedal overshot twice in 2 days.

My question is, is the recommendation of the foreman makes sense? I was thinking that spending RM1k on a car valued not more than RM10k is too much. However, if I were to change new car, it is quite tight for my financial now.

PS: I've changed the brake hose 3 months ago and changed master pump 2 years ago.
Plaster Ceiling Paint Selection

My contractor advice me to buy Maxilite, due to she says expensive paint will cause bubbles on the plaster ceiling. May I know whether this is true?

Can I use Pentalite instead? Anyone tried Pentalite on plaster ceiling and found problem?

Or is there any other suggestion?

Thanks in advance.
