If Property Prices Ever Drop

I am just wondering what the sifus here think when it comes to a decline in property price?

You think it will drop by 10%? 20%?

Let me start with what I heard. My fren said max max can drop 50%.

I am thinking if drop 50%, all bank die liao. But my favourite pavilion residence will be RM800 psf. 1,200 sq ft will be 4k installment a month. I want move there stay liao.

[WTA] The Wharf vs Desa Impiana

Dear old birds,

I am considering buying the wharf which offers around RM400 psf for a leasehold condo to be completed in bout 3 yrs time. Downpayment 7% upon S&P and DIBS.

Then there is the desa impiana nearby. THe landscaping is really well done and I was so impressed when a friend showed me the place. A search on iproperty.com showed that prices are around rm280 psf considering some units of 1,068 sq ft are selling at RM285k to RM290k. Those asking for RM300k+ would have very nice renovation.

Can you share your view with me how to choose between the two?

My instinct told me that the Wharf should be better but I could not explain why.
