Dilemma between Canon A570IS vs Ricoh R6

Hi All,

Need you guys opinion

Is Canon A570IS very good camera? It's like good camera and a lot function to play with right?

But Ricoh R6 also like not bad, review said till very powerful. However, do Ricoh R6 have full manual control like A570IS?

Plan to get one soon... but wondering which to get now...

Please advice me or also can give some other better camera to make me even more confuse...

What if my laptop USB port not enough power...?

My laptop is quite weird... if not wrong, 1 is USB 1.1 port, another is USB 2.0 port... therefore, cannot plug 2 ports for my external HDD. However, I only have 2 USB port...

I wondering is there anything can draw power from other source instead of laptop? I do see my external HDD got a D.C. hole but I wondering where can get that D.C. adaptor?

Any suggestion for me? What device I can get so I can use my external HDD in my laptop?

USB 2.0 PCMCIA card? How much is it?

Adaptor? Where to find this thing and how much is it?

USB 2.0 HUB? Is this safe? Later draw over current from 1 USB port will cause the port very fast KONG??

Windows XP + VMWare Server, guest UBUNTU...

I just enter LINUX world, i use Windows XP, then use VMware Server to run UBUNTU LINUX DESKTOP version. The setup is quite easy but i find out the UBUNTU very laggy in Gnome environment... Is it because Windows XP already took up much resources?

My PC is AMD XP 2000+ with 768 RAM... I already set the memory in Vmware to allocate 512MB memory to UBUNTU but still can feel the laggy of the system...

Any way to make the Ubuntu run smoother if i don't want to use dual boot?

Look at the title like sound very attractive... what i heard basically this job deal with mutual fund, insurance, investment thingy...

But some of my friend do tell me that in fact it is more like a Sale Person for the bank you work, help them to Sale their product...

You guys think this job can learn about investment or not?? Scare only the very brief knowledge then is all about sale the investment packages...

Got 1 question about Labour Law... want to ask... if the salary is going to prorate (mean not work full 1 month, to meet the salary cycle...)

Is it going to divide

SALARY/30days * Days of working OR
SALARY/31days * Days of working OR
SALARY/(30days - SunSatOfTheMonth) * Days of working ???

Example:

I work from 30/05/2006 until 22/06/2006... work total of 24days...
