Hi .net experts. need help on this.

let say I have 2 pages; page1.aspx and page2.aspx
both of the pages are created using masterpage, so to say that both contents of the pages are inside the masterpage contentplaceholder.

in my page1.aspx code, i have an event handler function that would transfer execution to page2.aspx on certain condition, using Server.Trasnfer("page2.aspx", True). Notes that i make the preserveForm = True because i want the some value from page1.aspx to be used for page2.aspx.

the problem is:
how do i access those value?

i tried printing all the Request.Form items, and i got the form value from the page1.aspx. problem is the key for accessing Request.Form (e.g Request.Form["icno"]) is not intuitive. the key become something like "ctl00$ContentPlaceHolder1$TxtBox_icno". I suspect this is caused by the masterpage container.

so.. any better way to access the previous page data/controls value/input value etc?

"Karsten Nohl, chief research scientist with H4RDW4RE, a Sunnyvale, Calif.-based security research firm, is mounting what could be the most ambitious attempt yet to compromise the GSM phone system, which is used by over 3 billion people around the world. Others have cracked the A5/1 encryption technology used in GSM before, but their results have remained secret. However, Nohl, who earned a Ph.D. in computer science at the University of Virginia and is a member of Germany's Chaos Computer Club (CCC), intends to go one big step further: By the end of the year, he plans to make the keys available to everyone on the Internet."

A really bad day

There was this guy at a bar, just looking at his drink. He stays like that for half of an hour.

Then, this big trouble-making truck driver steps next to him, takes the drink from the guy, and just drinks it all down. The poor man starts crying. The truck driver says, "Come on man, I was just joking. Here, I'll buy you another drink. I just can't stand to see a man cry."

An ailing child

An Ailing Child
The young lady entered the doctor's office carrying an infant.

"Doctor," she explained, "the baby seems to be ailing. Instead of gaining weight, he lost three ounces this week."

The medic examined the child and then started to squeeze the lady's breasts.

He then unbuttoned her blouse, removed the bra and began powerfully sucking on one nipple.

"Young lady," he finally announced, "no wonder the baby is losing weight, you haven't any milk!"

"Of course not!" she shrieked. "It's not my child, it's my sister's!"

Shall/Should, Can/Could

Hi

wanna ask what is the correct way to use

Shall/Should, Can/could, will/would

i know that those are present/past tense right?
but i'm confused with the usage in a question

e.g:

Should I go with you?
shall I go with you?

-- what is the difference between the two sentences above?

also for others like

can/will I go with you
could/would I go with you

and i know shall/should implies permission, can/could implies ability to do something, and will/would implies something like going to..

so please enlighten me on the bolded part...

Hey guys i joined this just to ask this

what do guys think of the prospect of career in IC design area?
what about the career growth in this area? (technical)

is too long? 9mth training + 6 mth practical
then about the pay.. ppl who take Masters i think got pay around 1.5k. can i survive with that since i'm not from that area either. *sigh~
then is this worth of my time, though i'll not be able to secure employment later (with TI i think), is this a good addition to my resume? (i'm fresh grad)

ps: this is my area of interest. i love being in R&D as well as hoping to be a chip designer.
