Hi,

Anyone know about Jirnexu / RInggit Plus?

It seems like a badwork environment. But they got employees to rate it highly on Glassdoor.
Major complaints are you work till late night.

- Most of the staffs are friendly and encouraging, although you still get the odd people who are downright rude and unhelpful if they decide they don't like you.
- Occasionally the company will treat staffs to food within the office - mostly fast food.

- Lots of cheap food options around the office.
- Good project and task management system, they use JIRA to track all your ongoing and completed tasks.
- There's a quarterly budget for company outing, although if nobody suggest or plan anything, the management and HR won't bother with outings.
- The company is moving fast and has potential to achieve great heights.Show Less

Cons

- There is zero culture, staffs are often given too many tasks to complete in a short period of time (you get a lot of short notice tasks that need to be completed immediately too) that few people have time to socialize or participate in things.
- Workload per person is crazy, the management expects you to come early and stay late to finish your tasks.
- The working environment is cramped, stressful and lack any form of motivation.
- The management either don't care about you or bullies you verbally and publicly when you make a mistake. Abusive language is the norm there, and your mistakes are laid out for everyone to see.
- The management and HR tends to micromanage you, and if the HR doesn't like you, good luck trying to build a career there.
- Too many office politics, the HR controls everything. The higher management leave most office decisions to the HR even though HR is unfriendly and virtually unapproachable if you're not on good terms with them. There's no human empathy in the HR. Many people has been dismissed due to 'the management's decision'.
- Even if you decide to quit, they don't care because HR gets commission every time they hire new staffs, so more for the HR.
- There's no support from the higher management, they don't really get involved in office matters unless it concerns leads. The C level management don't even talk to staffs unless at town hall or about work.
- Most major campaigns are decided at the last minutes, it's considered normal for people to work late into the AM to catch up with workload. If you complain, the management will just say that they too work late and burn the midnight oil.
- There's zero work life balance there, and people get sick a lot. Fever and flu bugs are spread around the entire office on an almost consistent basis.
- Lost faith after staffs were forced to give good reviews on the company on Glassdoor and Facebook.
- The management will promise you many things to keep you there - promises of a raise, promotion and whatever, but during your performance review all of a sudden they decide that you either didn't perform or you haven't done anything 'extraordinary' to justify a raise/promotion.
- There's no working flexibility. They may be a start up but it's almost like they're trying to be a corporate company. Staffs are reprimanded if they come late, and they don't care if you stay at work late.
- Favoritism is obvious. If you're in the management's circle, you can get away with anything. No use pointing it out to the HR either, as they will defend their favorites.
- There's very few company events or staff appreciation. They won't be bothered with throwing dinners and company events even for Christmas, Raya etc unless for farewell parties when their favorites leave.Show Less

Advice to Management

Staffs may be disposable to you, but there's no reason to treat them like trash. Numbers and leads not always everything, learn how to manage and treat your people right from the good companies such as REVAsia or VLT. If you keep treating your staffs the way you are right now, more good people will walk away.
