Good Evening guys, currently im using Dell XPS 15 which is dying soon. This time i want to purchase a desktop to replace the laptop, below is the requirement and my budget, please give me some advice!

[Budget] = RM 5-5.5k

[Purpose] = Home use (multitasking), Movie, Gaming, AutoCAD, Photoshop

[Hardwares that will be re-use]=none

[Monitor resolution]= looking for 23' and above Full HD monitor

just now i install a gadget for show the processor core performance.. and it show 8cores!!! my unit is xps 15 i7 Q740.. any ideas how its happening?

and the Mcafee scanning is very very very extremely slow...

nvlddmkm.. anyone have solution on this problem?

Guys, my laptop have this problem 3 years already.. i sent to HP service center to fix few times, they always said is screen problem, graphic card problem. But they din really help me to fix the problem..

My laptop: HP pavillion dv2523tx , Intel® Core 2 duo T7100@ 1.8Ghz , 2Gb ram, Nvidia GeForce 8400M GS

when the problem occur, then a window will pop out:
Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding, but has succesfully recovered

Sometime the screen colors will change, then turn black. After a minute turn into blue screen.. ><
Is there any solutions to fix this problem?

HP lousy service

Just want to share some experiences to all..
Few weeks ago, i sent my HP pavilion laptop to service before the warranty expire. But when i collect the laptop at Kuala Lumpur service center, the technician said my headphone jack port not functioning due to os system corrupted. they din help me to format because they have to get permission 1st ( why they dont call me before i go collect ). But the next 2 days i have to fly back to sabah, so i cant leave my laptop there to format. The technician said i can format myself to solve the problem , and COMFIRM NOT HARDWARE PROBLEM.

Now the laptop was formatted using recovery system and updated the drivers as well.. the problem still remaining. >.< i send to sabah hp center, they say maybe is the hardware problem and charge me RM72 for checking fees, RM600++ for the hardware replacement... but i reject and leave.

So, what is your opinions to this case?
