Hotlink Auto Renewal Pass

Previously was subscribed to a RM20/month.

Then I wanted to change to a RM30/month. But the old pass kept on renewing itself even after I have bought the new plan.
Hence I cancelled the auto-renewal option in *100#.

Now the problem is, my new monthly pass won't auto-renew itself. I have to manually buy it every month.

Can you help to activate auto renew back?

Multiple Networks

Okay, here's the thing.

I got 2 networks. One for my main usage, and I created another VPN to my home.

Right now I would like to check out my home's router (192.168.1.1).

How do I do that? By typing on the address bar it would be searching on my main network, where else I would like it to search through the VPN network.

Part time Studies in Buildings

It's like this, my girlfriend quit school and start working since form 4 due to financial difficulties. She's been working for almost 6 years, without an SPM cert.

She's been in a construction/building line for a year now, and her boss wants her to study something related to that field.

I guess now there are two options:
1. Get an SPM, and further study in Cert/Diploma.

2. Just go ahead with those skill training programs.

The skill training provided by Construction Industry Development Board of Malaysia are kind of expensive. Few hundred per course.

Which is a better choice? Or is there any other private institute which doesn't need SPM to study for constructions?

I need to download loads of pictures scattered around urls such as :

www.google.com/001-xyz.jpg
..
..
www.google.com/200-abc.jpg

The problem is that the pictures I named last time are 001_tioman, 002_china... ... abc, xyz names are random, but the numbers in front are in orders.

How am I suppose to use the wildcard(*) to download using flashget?

Is it possible?

Is root treatment painful?

I'm having some kind of dental phobia. I went to visit the dentist this evening after suffering from a week of tooth ache.

It turned out that my previous filling wasn't that 'clean' enough and there's infection in the root.

Anyway, he told me I need a root treatment. Before he manage to pump in the second dose of anesthetic, I passed out.

I've previously gone thru 4 tooth extraction and around 7 years of braces and retainer... and several fillings... I'm not THAT old, soon 21..

Help ?! My coming scheduled visit is due next Friday.

I did nothing today, my lips is still numb now, just inject and went home.

The laptop model shows it's a T60

But it differs from the internet IBM T60 a lot, can you guys help me identify it?

It seems like new, but how come there's no touchpad? Is it imitation?

I'm trying to get my wifi setup.

It's using an AR5006EG

I tried using madwifi but it doesn't seems to work.
It gives me all kinds of error. I didn't record down as I have to reboot my whole system to log in my XP.

Anyway, I'm switch to ndiswrapper. It need a windows executable program which I downloaded from the website. But they need the .inf file which I don't have it. It's just an EXE file only.

Any ideas?

USB modem combine with wifi router

As below, I want to use my old pc to dial my USB modem and broadcast the internet via wifi to other pc.

Laptop:

Desktop (wifi)
Ip 192.168.1.102
Gateway 192.168.1.10

All the PC are able to ping each other and somehow skype is working also.
But the desktop and laptop can't surf the net/msn.
What seems to be the problem?

Do I need to Disable DHCP on my router?
I connected a straight through cable to my router ethernet port with my old pc.

Is there a way to not manually configure my ip?
I often bring different laptop back home and I prefer them to connect automatically.

I'd like to host my own website/blog without registering it with those paid service.

I mean like, I want to host all my own files in my PC, so I don't have to upload to anyone's server. And even create own domain, eg www.myname.com.

I see there are some who register free domain but need to use those free web hosting services.

What I am actually looking for is hosting everything with my own pc running 24/7.

Actually, is it possible?

And what if I am behind a proxy?

I got two ip address.

I'm in my university using proxy connection.

When I use ipconfig to check my ip, it gives me a 172.20.X.X

But when I check internet www.whatismyip.com it gives me another different one. 155.66.X.X

Which is which?

Zone Alarm Configuring

I just got myself a Zone Alarm Pro 6.5.737 few days ago.

However I find it blocking my hotmail, I have to lower my internet zone security to 'medium'.

Usually it is at high settings, is there any ways to custom configure it instead of loweing the internet zone security?

Because during high settings mode, it succesfully prevented my computer from sharing and accessing files within my network. I find that useful.

Check out that program. It works something skype, just that it can call from computer to Malaysia landline for free.

I tried from Singapore to KL landline, it works great...

So far I had done a addware and spyware scan.. Nope. The program is not yet detected as harmful to my computer.

But it is only limited to 300minutes per week. Anyway, we can always create another account if it pass the limit.

And only landline is free, for hp, they will charge you.

Behind a Proxy

I'm using my University network connection to online. I had to use the proxy connection.

Right now I can't update my software (CCleaner, AVg..) , is there anyway to fix that?

Btw, I tried using TOR too, but TOR also uses proxy to make a computer anonymous from the internet, right? Anyway, If I enable TOR, I can't surf the net anymore..

Is there other way to make my computer anonymous from my Uni server?

Connecting a switch

I am making an on/off switch.

Right now is that it has one input hole and one output hole.

I want to use the switch to control my molex power for my PATA HDD.

So can I just on/off the yellow line, or else is the red line? Either one of them to control the current for my components?
