BANK Indonesia (BI) akan memperketat kebijakan pembelian valuta asing dolar Amerika Serikat menjadi US$ 25 ribu per orang per bulan.

“Kami persiapkan akan turunkan lagi menjadi US$ 25 ribu sehingga pembelian dolar di atas US$ 25 ribu pakai underlying,” kata Gubernur BI Perry Warjiyo dalam konferensi pers di Istana Kepresidenan, Selasa, 5 Mei 2026, dipantau dari YouTube Sekretariat Presiden.

Baru-baru ini BI telah memperkat ketika ambang batas pembelian dolar tanpa underlying dibatasi menjadi US$ 50 ribu per orang per bulan dari yang sebelumnya US$ 100 ribu per orang per bulan.

Pengetatan pembelian dolar AS merupakan satu dari tujuh langkah BI untuk menstabilkan nilai tukar rupiah. Perry mengatakan ketujuh langkah tersebut telah disetujui oleh Presiden Prabowo Subianto.

BI mencatat transaksi spot dolar Amerika Serikat menurun usai kebijakan pembelian valuta asing diperketat. Deputi Gubernur BI Thomas Djiwandono mengatakan per 17 April 2026, rata-rata harian transaksi spot nasabah menurun dari US$ 78 juta menjadi US$ 60 juta.

“Mengenai kesiapan bank-bank tersebut, karena terdapat transisi selama satu bulan untuk pelaporan dan penyampaian dokumen tersebut, sehingga para bank sudah siap dan tidak ada masalah di situ,” ucapnya dalam konferensi pers hasil Rapat Dewan Gubernur BI yang digelar daring pada Rabu, 22 April 2026.

Gubernur BI Perry Warjiyo menambahkan, penggunaan dokumen underlying dalam transaksi spot telah meningkat menjadi 93,5 persen dari 89,2 persen. Menurutnya, meski baru berjalan sebentar, pengetatan kebijakan transaksi valas sudah memberikan hasil yang positif.

China’s Chery Group has officially opened its assembly factory in Thailand to produce up to 80,000 vehicles for domestic and export markets by 2030.

SINGAPORE: Grab Singapore will provide fuel vouchers to its delivery-partners amid rising fuel costs linked to the Middle East conflict.

The move will bring its total financial support for its partners to about S$1.4 million (US$1 million), it said in a media release on Thursday (Apr 2).

The company introduced fuel vouchers for its driver-partners in March and on Tuesday unveiled a S$1.1 million support package that includes higher monthly cash bonuses and cashback rebates.

Grab will also temporarily raise its fuel surcharge, benefiting its drivers directly, to S$0.90 from Apr 7, while metered GrabCab taxi fares have been increased in an effort to support its taxi drivers.

"While previous measures addressed the wider transport fleet, this expansion focuses exclusively on the delivery community's most fuel-sensitive segment: those who are operating petrol-based motorcycles, cars and vans," Grab said.

"This targeted fuel support for delivery-partners was developed in consultation with the National Delivery Champions Association (NDCA)."

The vouchers will vary based on partners' vehicle types and their Grab Emerald Circle tiers, and eligible delivery-partners will receive voucher collection details via the Grab driver app. Emerald Circle is a loyalty programme for Grab’s partners.

All Grab transport and delivery driver-partners will continue to receive fuel discounts at Esso, Caltex and Sinopec as part of the company's partner benefits, it said.

"The current fuel situation is a challenge felt across our entire partner network, and we are committed to supporting our delivery-partners as they navigate these rising costs," a Grab spokesperson said.

"As a vital pillar of Singapore's F&B ecosystem, their resilience is essential to the reliability our consumers and merchant-partners depend on."

National Trades Union Congress assistant secretary-general and NDCA adviser Yeo Wan Ling welcomed Grab's move, but said that more needed to be done to support platform workers.

"Rising fuel costs are directly eroding the livelihoods and take-home earnings of our platform workers. Earlier support for drivers has provided some relief, and we have called on platform operators to step up with broader-based support," she added.

"We welcome Grab's move to introduce fuel subsidies for delivery riders. At the same time, this cannot rest on any single operator.

"We will continue to push for a strong tripartite response, from operators and government, one that delivers comprehensive and timely relief across the sector, and ensures that all platform workers are supported, not just a few."

華碩在2025年結束前投下震撼彈，宣布1月5日、也就是今日起漲價，雖然華碩只是「針對部分產品組合策略性價格調整」，可是通路已經全部炸鍋。根據鏡報實際走訪光華商場，華碩通知通路商「一般筆電漲3000～5000元、電競筆電最高漲1萬」外，通路商甚至在5日一併調漲微軟陣營品牌宏碁、惠普、戴爾、微星、技嘉等主流機種的價格「每台平均漲6000塊」，相當於漲價15～20％。
記憶體與SSD缺貨、大漲，正是這波筆電有感漲價的濫觴。鏡報前往賣場詢價，在光華商場、三創共有15個店面，銷售品牌包括雙A、惠普、微星、戴爾、聯想、技嘉、LG等品牌的知名業者茂訊電腦銷售人員對鏡報表示，記憶體、SSD價格漲太多，華碩宣佈1月5日漲價後，不只光華商場每個通路商5日都會漲價，茂訊旗下銷售的每一個筆電品牌，星期一起售價也將全面漲價20％。
而在三創、光華商場經營6個店面，銷售華碩、惠普、微星、技嘉共四個品牌筆電的三井3C，也對鏡報證實星期一筆電全面漲價的訊息，「我們這邊星期一開始，四個品牌每一台都會漲6000元」。不過三井3C也透露，不到1.5萬元的低階筆電漲價的金額不會這麼高，「如果看漲價幅度，平均值15％以上」，換言之，最便宜的低價筆電，從本週一起就會貴2000多元。
光華商場另一個通路商則向鏡報透露，華碩已經向通路商通告，一般的文書處理用筆電漲價3000～5000元，電競機種則將漲價8000元～1萬元。以目前華碩超低價入門筆電約1.4萬元上下、中高價位的文書處理用筆電約3萬元來說，漲幅大約在15～20％，而動輒3.5萬元以上、甚至5萬多元起跳的電競機種，換算下來漲幅20％。
不只許久未漲價的筆電一夕之間有感大漲，雪上加霜的是，不少微軟作業系統的筆電，已經賣到缺貨。通路商對鏡報表示，記憶體、SSD大漲價的新聞大量曝光後，許多消費者與公司行號預期筆電即將漲價，而提前至12月下旬採購，加上部分國產品牌原廠供應不足，或是停產舊機種以便把庫存有限的記憶體，用在將在3月開賣、搭載英特爾新款處理器Panther Lake的新筆電，所以，現在部分熱賣的舊機種已經叫不到貨，但搭載新處理器的新筆電起價會是多少錢、用什麼樣的記憶體與SSD規格，目前通路上的資訊都是混沌不明。

Mitsui 3C, which operates six stores in Sanchuang and Guanghua malls selling laptops from ASUS, HP, MSI, and Gigabyte, also confirmed to the Mirror Daily the news of a general price increase for laptops on Monday. "Starting Monday, each of our four brands will increase by NT$6,000," they stated. However, Mitsui 3C also revealed that the price increase for lower-end laptops under NT$15,000 wouldn't be that high. "If you look at the price increase percentage, it's an average of over 15%," meaning that even the cheapest low-priced laptops will be more than NT$2,000 more expensive starting this week. Another retailer at Guanghua Shopping Mall revealed to the Mirror that ASUS has notified its distributors that general word processing laptops will increase in price by NT$3,000 to NT$5,000, while gaming laptops will increase by NT$8,000 to NT$10,000. Considering that ASUS's entry-level laptops are currently priced around NT$14,000 and mid-to-high-end word processing laptops around NT$30,000, the price increase is approximately 15% to 20%.
