DIY wedding reception in need of movers/helpers

wendyqq — Tue, 16 Aug 2016 10:59:41 +0800

Dear friends...

I am in need of movers or event helpers who can take it to move heavy stuff (in fact not toooo heavy, may be troublesome).

Wooden Pallet backdrop, 1 or 2 wooden boxes, fabric cloths to cover wooden pallet. And some light decorative stuff. Move from car park to hotel ball room reception, details have to check with hotel planner.

Would like to know:-

If you had tried this before to diy event by yourself, please do share with me your experience! Appreciated.

As this backdrop is relatively heavy item, I don't feel good to trouble even best friends when they are suppose just to be there to be your guest beautifully.

So please do help me to check around your network for any trust worthy movers or part time helpers.

Appreciated!!!!
Wendy

Destination Wedding idea

wendyqq — Wed, 29 May 2013 17:57:58 +0800

[B]dear all,

Has anyone involved in Destination Wedding before? as the invited guest, photographer etc, or you had arranged one for yourself before?

I am so curious about this way of wedding, our initial plan is very simple just having traditional round table dinner in hall, or Garden wedding in a resort / hotel.

All seems ordinary and still got to spend a lot. I really really prefer something that is special that can leave great memory.

please advice yah

the attitude issue

wendyqq — Tue, 02 Apr 2013 10:34:30 +0800

hey gals/guys out there,

just want your thoughts on our conversation below.

i do not think what i said is not good, instead thinking it's quite cute, but to him, it's ironic. i feel uncomfortable for this judgement as it's really a simple and cute expression i had for him. so i end up keep asking him why i cant say that, we both are not so happy after the talk. it's always from these small things make couples feel uneasy.

so what do u think? objective advice!!

here below is the talk:-

He bought a CD player with LCD sort of thing costing 2k plus for his car, he is happy and im happy that he likes it, too, no big deal. And late night before sleep, that was where the conversation started (whatsapp).
me: "you want sleep liao?, what you doing juz nw arh?"
him: "just now do my player lo, so headache."
me: "oh so long you do, done? how come headache?"
him: "i listen too much"
me: "hahaha zzz"
him: "dont know how to set the best sound that i want''
me: "=.= xing fu de ppl de headache''
him: ''i headache bc i listen too much', pls dont say like that la''
me: ''bad meh?''
him: ''no ah, just sound not good.''
me: ''no u sensitive over joke.''
then, on the phone cont ...

for me, i am unhappy that the happy conversation suddenly become serious that i cant say this and that. and i wonder why! to him, he says its just a bit ironic, he just wanna tell it out he dont like the way i say, nothing else, and hope we get it over with.
