People think their better than Designer

Hi all creative people,

For those creative people working in corporate company or any others, have anyone of you face those kind of people / colleagues that acted like designers or art directors in your company and actually they are not. Well, the reason I created this topic is because is to help every designers including myself in order how to handle this kind of people in real world.

Yes, a great designer should accept feedback or any other comments from others or your colleagues. But sometimes , or many times that you will face a situation where your colleague(s) will comment / condemn on your work like they are the boss or very experienced designer / art director. Even they are just a young executive or something which had no related or experience in this field .How will you handle this people.

Nowadays, designer who work in corporate are easily taken granted and being condemn by colleagues. I faced so many situations before where people will purposely laugh at your work in front of your boss to make it they are the best when you presented your work to your boss. Or even ask you to change your design according to their own taste. When i rejecting them, they will say "why not just trying it out??"

I've been firm enough in those situation but still, just because there are so many of them a same department, it's pretty hard to handle them. Frankly speaking, I'm an award winner designer and I believe the more stronger you are, the more enemy you will get in such large corporate company, just because they wanna make themselves looks even better than me in front of the bosses.

So, guys and girls of creative community here, what about you? It's pretty hard to be a designer nowadays.

Hi Everyone,

I need some advices here because i have a problem with my current wall Astro & TV antenna placement right now.

I wanted to switch between my TV and my sofa position and the problem is I don't know how to do it as the Wall Sockets of Astro and TV Antenna are located on the other side of my living room wall.

Are there any ideas I can do without hacking the wall to shift all the wire thingy?
2012 Hyundai Veloster

Hi all,

As Hyundai going to launch Veloster soon by Q1 2012, how many of you will be interested to get one if the pricing around 105k (jus my prediction)?? It will definately slightly higher price than Elantra 2012.

For me, Veloster is freaking awesome car with uniquely designed 3rd door coupe / sport hatchback.

Saw quite a few in Seoul and quite many is driving it. This is one of it.

[attachmentid=2580008]

Veloster is kind of design it's either You Like It or Hate it. In my opinion, Hyundai has done a great job on designing this car, where it's completely different from existing coupes & hatchbacks.

According to most of the reviews, it has quite large cabin size for back passengers although it looks small from outside.
Fuel consumption, it's better than hybrid on the highway. And it has 18inch wheels for high specs.

Here are some images i found...

[attachmentid=2580006]

[attachmentid=2580040]

[attachmentid=2580045]

[attachmentid=2580114]

[attachmentid=2580117]

[attachmentid=2580123]

[attachmentid=2580125]
