Condo with E27 Downlight

Hi guys

Condominium with about 3.1m finish floor level to slab.
Would you use E27 type downlight?
The downlight casing would be about 5.5 inch high.
So probably will cause a ceiling drop of about 7 inch.
Finish floor level to plaster ceiling would measure at about 2.92m.

What do you think? Is it too low?

Am thinking to use the downlight with LED bulb.
Would be easier to change next time, if compared to those slim all in one LED downlight.
