1st time building a rig

I am trying to build a CPU that can help me in my Engineering Designing softwares and also suitable for gaming purposes. Here is the combination I tried.

MSI GTX560 - RM 629
Intel i5 3570 - RM 639
Kingston DDR3 8GB (4GBx2) - RM 132
SG 1TB SATAIII - RM 259
CORSAIR GAMING SERIES 600W - RM 279
LG DVD-RW 22x SATA - RM 54

Total = RM 1992

Budget is below RM2500 and tell me what am I missing or what kind of problem will I be facing by using the combination. Also, I don't have much knowledge on motherboard size to fit to casing, suggest some. Thanks
