Aran, a Hero Resurrected!

Five legendary heroes bravely battled against the Black Wizard during his ruling of the Maple world. Despite being powerful in their skills, the heroes still could not prevail against the might of the Black Wizard. In the most desperate of attempts in saving the residents of Maple, the heroes sent the residents away to Victoria Island before they went to face off the Black Wizard for one last time.

However, both parties vanished after the fierce battle. The residents of Maple mourn the demise of their heroes as their lives remained peaceful…for now.

• Players will have to register for the event at our Asiasoft Passport website.(Sign in to your Asiasoft Passport to register).
• Fill in your details as requested on the registration page (Please input your IGN correctly).
• Once you have confirmed and have registered for the event, there will be a confirmation message. Do wait for the confirmation message before logging out.

For NEW MapleSEA Game Account holders

• Register an Asiasoft Passport Account at https://passport.asiasoft.net/. You may wish to refer to the guide at http://maple.playpark.net/guide/how_to_signup/.
• Login to your MapleSEA Game Account and start your very own ARAN character.
• Players will have to register for the event at our Asiasoft Passport website. (Sign in to your Asiasoft Passport to register).

How to Increase Your Winning ChancesNow, your odds of winning actually lie in your hands, so here’s how you can multiply your chances!

As you can see, your chances of winning increase along with your registered character’s level!
ExampleExample 1: MaplePlayer01 is at Level 1 when the ‘Play Aran and Win a Trip to Korea! Event ends on 2nd Feb 2010:

At this level, he already holds 1 winning chance.
Scenario A: MaplePlayer01 reaches Level 25 when the Event ends on 2nd Feb 2010.
He will have:
1 + 2 = 3 winning chances.

Scenario B: MaplePlayer01 reaches Level 55 when the Event ends on 2nd Feb 2010.
He will have:
1 + 2 + 3 = 6 winning chances.

Scenario C: MaplePlayer01 reaches Level 85 when the Event ends on 2nd Feb 2010.
He will have:
1 + 2 + 3 + 4 = 10 winning chances.

Now don’t fret if the above scenarios sound confusing to you. Just remember that the higher your character’s level is, the higher your chance of winning!

Event Details

• Event will start from 18th Nov 2009 to 2nd Feb 2010.
• 1 MapleSEA Game Account ID is allowed to register once.
• The results will be announced 5-8 working days from 2nd Feb 2010.

Terms and Conditions

• All winners of the event will be required to perform an Identity Verification in order to collect the prize.
• This event is open for players residing in Singapore and Malaysia.
• If the drawn winner is unable to verify his/her Asiasoft passport account within 7 days of the result, a re-draw will be conducted
• Prize will be forfeited if the re-drawn winner is unable to verify his/her Asiasoft passport account.
• Asiasoft reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions, and to suspend, terminate or vary the event prizes with or without prior notice.
• Asiasoft’s decision on all matters relating to the draws shall be final, binding and conclusive and no correspondence will be entertained.

‘Among The Champions’ Daily Quest Time Attack[U]

Date: 7th June 2009 Sunday

Time: 3.30pm – 4.30pm

Pre-registration: 2 hours before slated time

Number of Winners: 3

Participants are to come down to the Game Festival and register themselves for the slated timeslot. All participants must have the following criteria:

1. A character which is already an ‘Argent Champion’ at the Argent Tournament.
2. The daily quest ‘Among The Champions’ open and not completed for the slated day and timeframe.
3. Any participant who already has more than 0 Argent Champion NPCs defeated for the daily quest will be requested to abandon the daily quest, and start it from 0/4.

Participants are to take turns at the stations. Each participant will be monitored one by one, with their times recorded.
All times from each participant will be tallied at the end of 1 hour. Top 3 numbers win.

:: Prizes:

1st Place – Wrath of the Lich King Collector’s Edition Box Set + Steel Series WoW Mouse + WoW Mousepad
2nd Place – Steel Series WoW Mousepad + WoW Battlechest + 60 Daytime card
3rd Place – Steel Series WoW Mousepad + WoW Battlechest

:: Mechanics:

* Each participant will be timed from the moment they begin their first fight, to the end of the fourth.
* Each participant will be allowed, and recommended to cast all 3 charges of the Defend skill before commencing the first fight.
* Participants will be timed with a stopwatch.
* Players will be allowed one restart in the event of lag. Further problems will be based on the Marshal’s decisions.
* Players to shuffle stations if necessary.
