Play Store currency

First of all, why isn't there a subforum for all phone-specific threads? All other OS have it.. Or really nobody has any topic to talk about Android in general??

And on to my question. Is there a way to change the currency in the Play Store?
I just came back from the UK not long ago and upon popping in a new SIM card the currency changes from GBP to USD. Problem is, the card I use for purchases is from the UK, so now everytime I buy an app at the Play Store, I get charged £1 (RM5) on top of the app price because of the different currency.
So those of you with Malaysian credit cards, do you get charged extra when buying an app?
Is it possible to change the USD to GBP or even RM?

Please help!!

And by the way, anyone knows how to make the extra Play Store content like Play Books, Play Movies appear? I tried all the tricks I know and none of them work. Probably because of my Maxis sim card...
Picture files in SD card disappearing itself

Hi there. I am using a HTC Desire. Now suddenly I have this mind-boggling problem with it. The picture files in my SD card will disappear automatically!!

This is already the second time it happened. The first time I thought that I must have deleted those files accidentally when i was transferring to my PC. But this time I was very sure. I did not touch the files at all. But the pictures located in different folders in the SD card will disappear suddenly. And it was not like all of them disappear. Like out of 100 pics, just 20 of them will remain while 80 of them are just simply..gone..

Strange thing is, just the pictures files will be gone. The music files and all other stuff will remain intact. What could possibly be the problem??? Is it some kind of virus or what???

Please please, can anyone point out what could be wrong? (It could be something stupid that I miss out though...)
