So, I want to buy some suspension for my motorcycle ... local I need to pay RM2900 for the suspension and fork spring ...
If buying from US only cost RM1700 or USD 420 something include shipping

It will be ship by USPS I believe ...
Whats the odd of it will be tahan by the Kastam and roughly how much I need to prepare for the tax ?

Not sure its correct but I check at tariff website it should be 10% for the suspension and of course 6% GST ....
Any other charges I need to concern ? Some old thread say if courier service declare then gg coz simply declare ...
Anyone has experience before ? Mind to share ?

Programmer change job

Lets say a experience C++ programmer would like to change job and become a Java programmer and he has not been touching java since his first job.

So, what will happen ?
1. Java company wont hire
2. Hire with low low low pay
3. Hire and pay as Java Programmer with experience

Anyone come across similar case before ?

The reason this question arise is because lots of people say that, programming language is not the main concern. What most important is your programming skills. But still, I don't think employer will willing to hire someone and give him sometime to get use to the new language.

Changing career path, need advice (SE)

First of all I have degree in software engineering, just started to work during 2013 March ... I failed to get my desire work so I join my company ... Long story short ... I work long term in oversea .... Travel 1 month and rest for 4 days in Malaysia after the travel period then repeat .... Job scope from system development, maintenance to support ....

Reason I want to leave
1. I am quite worry my future path because my company is using old tools to develop and its a quite old programming language, I don't see much opportunity for me (I think).
2. I am currently in Banking industry which I am really not interest, never think so much after I graduate so just try and realize I am really not into it.
3. I develop/support/maintain all around my company's base system and there is a lot of redundancy work ... I am not learning much ...
4. Too much work, I can handle stress well because I am quite optimistic but asking just two people to handle five people's work is really not reasonable. In addition, I just work work work work everyday, go back hotel then sleep, rise and repeat. I cant handle a life like that.

So my question :

1. I only have around 2 years working experience in banking industry, since I decide to change my path, all my knowledge basically throw into the recycle bin except my system and project management skill (I guess ?).

2. Pay, I am getting quite a lot of pay due to travel , more than twice other can get after (I am ready to give up that since its just allowance, impossible for me to travel forever). How much am I looking at when I look for a new job with 2 years working experience and 0 experience in the new field ?

3. When is the best time to leave ? We are having a big project now and it may last for 2-3 years. I am not the key person but I will handle all the work not on my senior's hand. I guess this year's increment will be around mid to end of the years so should I get my increment first ? Will it help when I request for the pay in new job (personally guess not since 0 experience )

4. My mind is ready, but I am worry my skill is not ready. Learning a new programming language is a piece of cake for me but again 0 experience .... Kindly advice me ...

I am a very frequent traveler to CHINA, stay long time there too ... All I have is my laptop ... Y410P ... Not really powerful enough ....
I have a really powerful desktop in Malaysia but gave to my brother because they need it more than me and recently bought another new 1 for my another brother .... haiz life of a elder brother ...

I really cant stand my laptop anymore and I really want to buy a new PC because I need more powerful graphic but I really struggling .... I also look into e-GPU but I dont think its a solution for me ....

What I want is MOREEEEEEEEE graphic power ...
Any new technology that fit my need ?

Hi guys .... I just bought my laptop (LENOVO - Y410P) few months ago ... specs as below ...

Processor
4th Generation Intel Core i7-4700MQ Processor (2.40GHz 1600MHz 6MB)

Windows 7 64 bit

Display
14.0" HD Glossy with integrated camera 1366x768

Graphics
NVIDIA GeForce GT755M GDDR5 2GB

I recently change the OS to window 7 ultimate because I think window 8 will eat up more juice ....
And i do feel that my system is running slow but changing to window 7 has not much of different ....
So i started to look into the hardware ...... Currently suspect the HDD might be too slow (because sometimes system freeze and comeback in few sec) ?
The thing is i believe with such specs, there wont be any issue in running window 7 and it should be very smooth !!!!
I have already tried two clean install but the results are quite the same :/
Any idea ? Thx for ur reply ! Sorry because of the bad English

-My start-up program is well managed
-Memory (2GB/out of 8GB looks abit high but not sure) and CPU usage looks fine
-Drivers all up to date
-I don't trust antivirus program because it slow down my system ... i only use the window malicious anti malware tools

Hey guys i need some suggestion here, i just recently updated my rig (only mobo and cpu, some basic i5 proc with mobo) and now I am having some dissatisfaction with my graphic/display smoothness.

my current GC is Sapphire HD5850 and monitor is samsung B2340H (both bought atleast 2years ago).

I always think the monitor and graphic in some cyber cafe provide very good image and graphic smoothness and I really hope my rig can have to same performance. IMO my graphic card is still consider good enough but not really sure for my monitor. I am a guy that love smooth image, smoothness > graphic quality so i dont care about max out the graphic setting in game but rather have a normal graphic quality and smooth gaming experience.

I need some opinion here for changing monitor/graphic card to achieve better image quality and gaming experience.
Budget is angpau $ maybe 1k +

hey guys i am currently creating an application for my final project and i need to create an alarm.
the program i facing is i would like to assign an ID to each of my notification, i had gone through some article and still kinda confuse.

what i know is i have to use the .userinfo of the notification and use the objectForkey and valueOfKey
to achieve my goal but i am still kinda confuse how to assign my key to my notification and how to get the value key value (i know how to get the value from the notification array but dono how to assign when creating).

hope some of you can guide me... most of the tutorial skip the part assigning the key, i read alot but still cant find my answer hope you guys can help ... thx
