I have recently signed up for streamyx (bloody hell)....as my maxis broadband is too unstable. I have contracted for wimax too, but my area seems having problem with the connection (imagine, im just staying right next to the biggest jusco in botanic klang). I have not tried with digi yet, and still struggling to seek from help from TM, but they have yet to come out any conclusion for the issues.

here is my problem, im sincerely hope to gather some advises from this forum:

im a full time home based importer, that need to visit some japan, korea and china sites for my business references. After switching my maxis to streamyx, i found out that i cant access to majority of the sites that i have been visiting thru maxis braodband.

i have called to TM to ask for help on the issues, and was told that they cant do anything to help since its more like an exchange server problem. I wonder why some of my business partner can easily visit these site and i cant. I have checked all my connection setting, is normal, and i didnt set any security filter or block the site from visiting.

now, one of my fren told me, i can either change my pc from windows xp to mecintosh based, and her connection (she is using mac pc) is pretty fast compare with using xp to surf. but im quite hesitate to change my pc software to macintosh based and i dont think my IT background can support me on using such a complicated and impatible software since my clients are major in windows based.

i wonder besides changing my pc software, is that any other way to solve the issue? my business is stuck now because i cant access to my supplier sites in japan & korea.

Anyone can help please? (im using streamyx combo 1mb package)
