Hi all, i decided to share my collection of landscapes here for critics and knowledge sharing. Most of my landscape were taken using Uwa sigma 10 20 + - few filters such as , Lee GND 0.6s or 0.9s , Hoya CPL, Hoya ND8 and Singray gold-N-blue and B+W nd110 10 stop filter . Some of the shots here were taken using sony alpha 200 ( my older gear ) and recent shot were taken using Nikon d7k. I hope some sifu here can fuse more critics into my thread.

How to duplicate my Civic FD spare key?

Hi all,

i lost my Civic FD spare key . The service center quotes -+ 1.3 K for another copy of the key ( immobiliser reset + one key + cutting + labour cost ). WTH , 1.3K for just a key??!!!

Is there any 3rd party who can provide this service . I`ve been hearing some shop who can duplicate recond Civic type R`s key + reset the immobiliser.

How to push mail from Lotus Notes to Iphone

Only Lotus Notes and Domino version 8.51 above supports native push mail on Iphone. Not only that, the Domino 8.51 servers must be configured to use optional Domino Traveler software module. For those who are using older version of Domino, you are out of luck and must rely on non-free third party solutions.
This step-by step instruction will show how to “push mail” from Lotus to your Iphone via Google’s Gmail. It’s not a native solution from your Lotus Domino but it works but with few catches. In this setup all responses to emails received via Lotus Domino will look like they are being sent from Lotus Email. You don’t want to expose your personal Gmail address, don’t you?

PART A: Forwarding email from Lotus email to Gmail
Register Gmail here if you don’t have an account.
Login to your Lotus Inotes via web browser.

Look at the left panel of you Lotus Web Mail and go to Tool > Rules

Click New Rule

Under “Rule Name” u can put whatever name for the rule. As u can see I put “redirect mail” there

Check “Condition” radio button

Choose “AND” for the first dropdown menu
Choose “All Documents” for the second dropdown menu and then press “Add’ button
Now you need to specify action for this rule. Under “Create actions”, choose “send copy to” and put your gmail address on the second column
Choose “full” on the last dropdown menu and press “Add” and lastly press “OK” button.
Now, every copy of your email receives via Lotus Email will be forwarded to your Gmail

PART B: Setting your iphone to receive push mail from Gmail.
Go to Settings on your Iphone`s Springboard and press Mail, Contacts, Calendar

Add your gmail account via Microsoft Exchange option. Do not choose Gmail or you wouldn’t receive any push mail!

Fill up all necessary information

Put your Gmail address on Email Column
Do not fill up anything on the Domain column
Put your Gmail username on the Username column with or without @gmail.com
Put your Gmail password on the Password column
Press Next
The iphone mail client will try to verify these Exchange information with google.

Press Accept even if the Iphone fails to verify certificate

Put “m.google.com” for the Server colum and then press Next.

Choose info you want to synchronize with Google and then press “Done”. I only use Mail to sync with Gmail.

At this stage you should be able to receive push email to your iphone when somebody sends an email to your Lotus Email. Try sending an email to your Lotus Email to make sure all steps were done correctly.

PART C: Setting up Gmail so that all mail replied look like they are being sent from Lotus Notes
Login to your Gmail
Go to Settings > Accounts and Imports
Click “Send mail from another address” button
Check “Reply from the same address the message was sent to”.

Enter information about your other email address. Eg myotheremail@yahoo.com

Check “send through Gmail” radio button

Send Verification Code to your other email address.

Read your other email address to get verification Sent by Google

Copy the Verification Code, paste to the column shown below and click “Verify”

Try sending an email to your Lotus Email address.
All mail replied will look like they are being sent from Lotus Notes ONLY if you reply via Gmail web application. If you reply via Iphone`s default email client, the reply address will be from your Gmail.
When u delete any email from your Iphone`s email client, a copy of the email will still stay on your Lotus email server hence the need of dual maintenance of email. Like I told you earlier, it’s not a perfect solution but at least you are always connected via push email and can response whenever needed.

I just got my new Maxis Black 3GS 3.12 MC model . JB using blackra1n latest ver from geohot website. Successfully JB the device , installed cydia , backgrounder . After reset the 3GS turned into Itunes recovery mode ( itunes picture and USB cable ) . Anybody having this kind of issue? is there any potential fix?

Hi all ,

Im currently on Celcom Powertools 148 . It comes with free 3.5 G access BUT attached with my voice SIM. Currently @ my home the 3G access is weak, i use USB 3g modem with voice feature ( to make sure no miss call ) + external antenna. Its quite troublesome for me to take out SIM from my pda phone into the USB modem daily. IS there a way for me to clone the SIM ( since i cant get extra SIM for the 3G acc ) so that i dont have to move the SIM to and from my phone? of course only one SIM is activated at a time.

HSDPA USB Modem with voice and external antenna

Hi all,

Im currently on Celcom Powertools P148 package that comes with free 3.5 G access. The HSDA access is attached with your voice SIM card. Currently im using Samsung i780, altho HSDPA signal in my office is great, it is terrible in my home. If i use i780 as a modem it will fluctuate from 3G to GPRS eventho i choose manual setting on the network. It seems winmobile or rather i780 is unable to lock on 3G only access if compare to USB HSDPA modem.

My plan is to use this SIM on HSDPA Modem that support Voice AND attachable with external antenna to enhance the weak signal.At the same time the USB modem should be able to lock the data to 3G only data. Any suggestion for good HSDPA modem that support these features ? Is my option feasible? I dont want to miss any call while using the internet.

Removing oxidized rubber lining

Converting campro 1.3 to 1.6

hello guys,

One of my friend told me that it is possible to convert campro 1.3 to 1.6. he said this can be done without re-bore the cylinder. He told me the Campro displacement is something to do with cylinder length?? thus changing the piston ?hand and crankshaft will effectively increasing the stroke length and so is the cc. This will cost +- 2K. Is this even possible. Will let say upgrading campro 1.3 to 1.6 improve FC for BLM? sorry for my naiveness . hopefully a sifu can clarify on this matter.

Hi,

Suddenly when run nslookup, my NS server is not from Tmnut eventho im using stimmix. when i ran up Nslookup the DNS server is:

Default Server: littleprincess.littleprince.gr

Address: 72.20.32.70

I check up my router but everything seem to be fine. However, when i check my manual ip configuration the DNS server preference has been changed to this DNS server. Nobody else touched my lappy except me and a Dell technician and i do not run any untrusted softwares.

Traced the source of the DNS to this http://www.boxserv.net/index.html . It is a shell hosting and i think run by Malaysian judging from the package which is in RM.

With recent incidents of DNS hijacking of few Malaysian Websites, i do wonder if this DNS server play a role. I personally think a malaysian is trying to steal passwd from malaysian users by directing users to fake sites. Probably faking some domain management sites?
