Laptop CPU heatsink stripped screw

Hi guys

Was self service my laptop to clean up all the dust and reapply the thermal paste. Now I'm stuck on removing 2 very tight and stripped screw on the CPU heatsink. Already tried rubber band and super glue method but doesn't work, and also do not have drill small enough to remove it.

Is there any repair shop near lowyat/imbi/digital mall able to help me to remove these stripped screws?

This is a Asus Memopad HD7. Screen is fine, no cracks or whatever. I think only the inner LCD has broken. I still able to restart the device by touching the screen, so the touch sensors should be fine also.

If I want to repair it, what is the cost ?

Just get myself a hexa 500 with 7870xt and Asus p8z77-m. When I on it, buzzer sound is ok with a beep and all fans are running well including the gpu fans, but it did not display anything at all.

I then swap my silverstone strider essential 600w to his computer, suspecting that 500w is not enough juice for 7870xt. But it also did no display again.

Then I swap his hexa500 and 7870xt to my msi board. And I'm playing games at maximum graphics now.

So what is the real problem here ? defect motherboard ?

Went to ACE Hardware and found that there are plenty of compressed air can with different brands and are available in a wide price range.

So what is the different between those cheap ones ( like RM1x ) compare to those up to RM3x ?

And some more how should I know which brand will not do harm to my hardware? which like contain liquid that will short circuit my hardware.

Hi, currently using Samsung F3 1TB and recently encounter some problem.

When using my computer, all of the sudden my desktop freeze or hang when open some application. Formatted my computer but it wont help, computer will just hang when opening some application. And for the HDD activity light on the casing, even is idle on the desktop, during hang time it will just light up, not blinking. No problem on CPU usage and RAM usage since they did not increase when hangs happened.

Performed disk check and it did not show bad sector, but instead unable to verify some point of the clusters. So is my harddisk having problem ?

And also, since Samsung now is under Seagate, should i return to the shop i bought or straight to Samsung Service Center ? bought it on Viewnet.

Hi

I will like to purchase a printer for normal documents printing usage, mostly university lectures notes and tutorial. As a student you know, our main text for study. Budget will be around RM200 or less then that, function should be 3-in-1 ( print scan and copy ).

The only model I have in my mind now is Canon MP258, which is widely used by all my friends. Any other recommendation ?

And also, should I go for modified ink ? Will it be a more economical save compare to original 1 ? Been hearing many problem regarding this method.
