To resign or secure job first?

Hi all, I have recently graduated and started working for 9 months. After some time, I found that my current job is too mundane and does not offer much opportunity to learn with limited growth in the current hierarchy. If I am to leave, I am looking to join graduate programmes offered by banks and F&B companies.

My question is, given the lengthy period of interviews of most graduate programmes, should I resign first and take time to prepare for those interviews or applying leaves to attend interviews? Somehow I feel its unethical to lie to my manager for other interviews.. Please advise thanks.

Career prospect or high pay?

Hi all. Something to ponder about,

Would you leave your job industry to join a better career growth field or stay in a job that pays you reasonably well(higher than what you believe you can get in the market) to do a "comfortable" and mundane job with much free time but limited career growth?

What would you do if you are:

a) A young grad without much commitments
b) An experience worker with many commitments.

Kindly share your views. This may be helpful for people like who had this kind of dilemma.

Thanks.

How do you react to people who ridicule you?

How do you react to people, friends or workplace senior who like to ridicule u in front of other about ur ambitions, work, ur behavior when ur in a new job or a fresh grad? While u never did anything wrong to them instead being nice to everyone including them and work hard at your job? I find it funny because there r ppl who would always try to find something to pick on even if u try to be nice on them.

While I'm doing my job, there was this fella from other department who would always come to my place and tell me not to act hardworking in front of others. I'm dumb folded and usually will just smile and ignore him as I'm still new but I just don't understand while he must pick on me when I'm not doing anything wrong and he hardly know me. Sometimes my mood is affected by people like him.. And I got demotivated at work..

Possible for fresh grad to buy property now?

Hi fellow forumers, I have just graduated recently and starting my first job with pay around 3k. I have always plan to buy a property either as investment or residential purpose as soon as I start earning. From the latest gov budget, it seems that fresh grad could apply up to 105% loan and this is encouraging for me. My question is, with my current pay do u guys think i could obtain the full loan? Besides, should i buy now although property prices is currently very high or should i wait for the price to go down?will the value price of properties go down in the next few years or keep increasing? And what type of properties should i consider for now? Im very new into properties and hope to get some advices from seniors here..thanks.
