2 Different Wifi Connection in 1 Router.

Hi.

Currently I am using Streamyx 4Mbps. No chance to upgrade to Unifi or 8Mbps Streamyx. Live in sub urban area.

But in my house can receive fair 4G LTE Digi internet.

Because of terrible upload speed of Streamyx, I am planning to subscribe Digi Broadband 40GB + 10GB broadband, using TP-LINK Archer MR200 AC750.

My question is, can the router provide 2 wifi connection simultaneously? 1 by ADSL (connected from ADSL modem via LAN/WAN) and another 1 by Digi LTE.

For example; I want to create 2 different connection by using the same router.

Wifi A: using Streamyx 4Mbps ADSL (LAN/WAN from ADSL modem)
Wifi B: using Digi LTE.

Is it possible?

p/s/s: I cannot sacrifice my Streamyx connection because I still need an unlimited internet.

Celcom To Offer Fixed Broadband Soon

In addition to its domestic roaming deal with TM for the upcoming P1 mobile services, Celcom has also unveiled its plan to offer its own fixed broadband services. This service will be utilizing TM’s High Speed Broadband infrastructure – similar in nature as per Maxis Fibre.

The new fixed broadband service is made possible due to the extension of TM Next-Gen Backhaul Services deal that both companies signed few years ago. Since today’s press conference was held together with TM which could be the service’s direct competitor through UniFi, Celcom’s CEO, Dato’ Sri Shazalli Ramly didn’t provide much detail regarding the company’s new fixed broadband service.

For starters, the new service will be targeted on Celcom’s own customers who want to utilize the new fixed broadband service as an extension to their existing subscription. In other words, its existing mobile businesses will continue to be Celcom’s priority even with the addition of the new fixed broadband service.

According to Dato’ Sri Shazalli, the service will be made available to its customers once all the necessary foundation has been established which is expected to be done within the second half of 2016. So Celcom customers, expect to hear more about the telco’s new fixed broadband service very soon.

iP5's camera: a lot of noises in panorama mode

Hi

As stated in topic, is it normal? The quality of my ip5 camera is like VGA camera with low resolution when in panorama mode. The camera can shoot a sharp image in normal mode but when its in panorama mode, the quality drops. Got blinking dots, noises and the lighting also very poor.

I attach a few screenshots from both mode.

You can look at the fonts of the book. In normal mode very clear but in panorama mode a bit blurry.

P/s: my iphone have rattling noise problem due to the lens but Maxis staff said its normal.

[WTA] Area have Unifi service but no Streamyx?

Hi.

My brother just applied for 1Mbps Streamyx for his new house. The house is in newly developed area.

This afternoon the contractor called him said his house dont have streamyx service but have unifi service. The contractor suggest my bro to subscribe into Unifi instead.

Is it possible for an area for having unifi service but no streamyx srervice? Or the contractor just want my bro to subscribe to unifi so he can get commission? Lol.

Is it normal for an iPad 2 (Wifi only) battery to drain at the rate of 1% per 7 mins? (just normal internet browsing)

1) the ipad was bought in April 2012 from Machines JB.
2) the ipad was set to the lowest brightness and location services is switched off.
3) ping, fetch already set to off.

No Bootable Device Error Message

Hi.

Last month I just got a free HP netbook by TM for the Streamyx Student Package. When I got it from the box, the error message; "No bootable device -- insert a boot disk and press any key". But then I managed to boot up the netbook normally. After that, the error message keeps appeared and becomes more frequent and now I even cannot turn on the netbook.

Is it a hard disk failure?

I dont know where to send the netbook because I got it directly from TM by courier.

Details of the complaint : On May 6 2010, I post a thread to find a used PS3 budget around Rm800. This is the link: http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=1413716&hl=. Then on 12th May 2010, a guy with id: Fantasy_World PM me told me that he want to sell his PS3. He told me to go to his thread; http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=1420413&hl=.

Then he said he will sell all the package stated in his thread at rm 900 and want to COD at Melaka. After negotiating, he agreed to sell the package without the 3 games at Rm 650 and want to do postage because I live in JB. He give his name as Wang Kuan Tze and his Maybank Account Number is: 104076054487. Then I bank in RM650 into his bank account and ask for his phone number. He give fake phone number: 0126656804. But then until now i cant contact him.

Then he said that he want to post the console the next Tuesday (18 May 2010). I reply I have no problems with that. But on Sunday (16 May 2010), he PM me that he was busy with outstation and will send the console on Thursday (20 May 2010). I started to feel that he want to scam me and reply that if he want to postpone it again, I will lodge a police report. Until now he didnt log in his lowyat account.

I did a few research on the net and found several profiles match with his account number and his name.

I did approached him on Facebook today but the 'person' in the Facebook said he never did any transaction to sell PS3 to anyone. And he also said that he want to lodge a police report because I threatened him. But then when I said I want to lodge a police report tomorrow and will give his account number, transaction details, etc to the police, he keep silent. sigh. Im very sure that the person who scam me is the same with the person in the Facebook profile.
