About
Memoirs - Photography Competition and Exhibition was first held from February to April 2010. It was held by Film And Photography, Multimedia University Cyberjaya.

We try our very best to make it happen every year for passionate photographers.

Detail
The Memoirs Photography Competition and Exhibition, which was organised by Film and Photography Society last year has received much positive feedback from the participants, sponsors and visitors.

Hence, to continue burning the passion among members as well as outsiders, our society will be conducting the second Memoirs event again in this academic year, and we’ll try our very best to learn from our past experience in organizing the event so that we could improve the event to a better level. Therefore for this year, the event will be called “Memoirs 2: The Puzzle”.

Just like a puzzle, a photo is formed by pixels, and memoirs are formed by stories. This year, participants have to come out with 4 photos to tell us a story about any of the chosen competition categories.

Through this competition, participants will identify appropriate settings, situations and individuals to photograph. They will be more creative and responsible for subject release forms and thus foster a love for photography among the members and MMU community. This competition will provide them a chance to display their photography work and talent.

Theme:
Memoirs 2: The Puzzles

Competition Duration:
1st February 2011 – 15th March 2011

Targeted Participants(Categories):
i. Student - Students of MMU, Students of other Universities
ii. Public - Freelancers and amateur photographers

3 Topics for BOTH categories participants:
i. My Country, My Home
ii. Farmville or Farmreal
iii. Forever 16
