Intel SSD 160Gb vs 80gB G2

Hi, I have 2x G2 intel ssd - 160gB and 80gb. I have run some performance test using HD tune to compare the performance. Below is the screen shot for the test. the 1st is the 160gb and the 2nd is the 80gb. There is a big difference in the random test where:

160gb = 4 IOPS, 242ms. 2.089MB/s
80gb = 271IOPS, 3.7ms, 137.685MB/s

It is a big difference and I retested the 160gb again and the avg access time will varies from 4000ms - >10000ms which is very long. but for the 80gb, it is quite consistent and not as high as 160gb.
All settings are the same.

Is this abnormal or otherwise? Do I need to send back this SSD to claim warranty?

File sharing win 7 with win xp

Hi guys, I need your help here on a question on file sharing through LAN in my home.

My main computer : - windows 7 x64. All my files are here.

My laptop: windows xp x86. I want to able to access files on my main computer.

Both are using different workgroup as the laptop is on my company's domain, so i cannot change the workgroup to match my home workgroup.

Is there a way to share files without changing the workgroup?

Hi Guys,

I'm getting frequent BSOD in Windows 7. Below is after I get it after leaving it for a few hours.

I also get a "MEMORY MANAGEMENT" BSOD sometimes.

Can anyone advise what are this BSOD related to? Is it related to the RAM or CPU?

Whenever i enable the sata raid function on this board, i will get a BSOD during booting windows XP. Is there any solution to this problem.

If disable the raid function, everything is normal.
