Part time Grab driving

Hello,

Any grab driver can enlighten me, is currently driving for grab can make some pocket money in 2022? With the recent announcement that gov is considering to open our border, will the situation improve?

I had drive with grab before the implementation of psv etc. last in 2019 I think. Stop because I got a stable job. Thinking to do some part time at weekend for extra income.

Previously I tend to drive around Nilai, KLIA, KL. Is Grab still relevent or other e-hailing is better?

Hi guys,

Do you disclose any near death experience you had, while commuting to work to your wife when back at home? You know, that may made your wife really worries. At the same time, you also felt quite traumatized, and wanted to talk to her. But you worried of her reaction.

I know riding a bike is not the safest transport, but that is all I can afford as for now as my home to work cost nearly RM38, exclude service, troubleshooting and time consuming if use car (tolls+fuel). So lets not talk about the cost/safety concern.

Lets say, I had trouble sleeping recently because I was 1-2 inches away from fatal accident recently. I felt bad for not telling my wife. But at the same time, she will surely very2 worried as my experiences before if I told her I saw accident on my way to work, she can't really focus on her work already.

Where to recover Flash Drive Memory

Hello, anyone can recommend where I can go to recover flash drive memory around KL or Bangi if OK. Those data is very important.. Currently any google solution is not solvable.. The drive is prompt to format at some laptop, for some the content is not accessible (0GB used/0GB space) disk management showed unallocated space. Change drive letter also not solved. Recuva also nothing..

Got some lead in Bangi, but it takes 2 weeks..

Design software in android?

Hi guys. Please forgive me if this is in a wrong section.

I do some printing business which involve me to do some design in gimp or photoshop. Usually it involves some layering, some stock photo editing, fonts, basic brushing. Most of it are pretty basic to be honest. I didnt use masking at all.

But due to the nature of my business, the size of the documents need to be exact, which if I want a 70mm circle at 300 dpi, I need the documents to be able to do just that. Then I transfer them on A4 size documents. In jpeg, not much in Ai..

Is there any android app with those ability? Because I actually don't have laptop (budget issue..) and rely a lot on my desktop. So I have problems when I'm away. Due to the advancement of phones hardware, my phone, huawei p20 have the desktop mode, which I can connect it to adapter to hdmi and usb peripherals. So, if there is apps that can support me on the go, I would be glad to have them on the go (there is portable monitor already, so that is huge for me). Any recommendations? Thanks

Maybe people will be asking why I get this phone instead of laptop as this phone last year can buy a good i5 laptop already.. Actually I get this with my plan.. so if telco can give laptop with plan I'll take it. Haha..

Is it worth to maxout mortgage loan?

Hello, my wife & I are currently looking to buy our first home. Currently, we're interested in a house with price around 350k (join loan) due to be conpleted around 2020. The thing is, the agent checked our mortgage eligibility & find out we are able to afford up to around 530k & bank calculator (cimb, hsbc) on their website backs this up too.

Hence, we're thinking to raise up a bit of our budget to around 450-480k

Is it worth it to maximise our mortgage loan? Based on our career progress, we are 90% sure we can afford up to that much (with kids, cars, sacrifice a bit on unnecessary vacation & dinner outside)

Though I'm as the first name, my record of loan, salary, epf everything is good. Different to my wife, her epf statement from her company isn't very good (3-4 months back pay) while all others is good. Will this effected our application?

they're based in china. n they are labelled as the Gold supplier. the price is reasonable as well as the MOQ that fit my budget. I already tried messaging them about my enquiry. my question, anyone have experience dealing with people from alibaba.com? are they reliable? did the gold supplier label is actually a trusted seller? I don't know any other places to look for supplier for my product actually.. (it's accessories, like wallet etc)

Hi everyone, I have an old PC lying around, dead due to PSU failure. I'd check everything, mobo has no capasitor leaking etc (can't identify the condition of other components, really )

What I want to do is rebuilt the system for my little bro so he can play some games (old games, usually I giv him 2007-11 games). I don't care for high setting, that's why don't want to buy new PC. dun want to giv new pc also coz he still at year 3, dun want him to play games much rather than study.

I don't quite understand about the AGP, but read around, it's old PCI-E maybe? so, I think to buy old HD 4670 (Found some in garage sale) based on google, found out that, that's the best AGP card ever produced..
or, is there any possible mobo for my processor that have PCI-E for at least HD7730? or I should forget about that since the processor still bottlenecking the system? because my bro also play some PS2 emulator since my PS2 been broken..

Also, current 400W-500W PSU can used on the system or not? sorry for noob question

The actual specs if not actually remember, the PC is dead since around 2009, all components' box are lost n my parents do not actually pay attention to pc details previously. back then, i also noob so, I try to list everything I salvaged n identified, can't actually confirm the actual CPU name also

Anybody ever NEAR drown when little?

As topic. I was nearly drown when I'm about 5 years old in a water park at langkawi (now the place gone edi). till now, when I try to submerge my head into water, even in bath tub, the underwater sound sort of make me anxious. I still can't submerged my head without pinching my nose. if not, the anxiety when submerged caused my to breathed in water. I want to learn swimming, but the worries when I'm underwater makes me failed to do so till now.

so, anybody ever drown during childhood, and successfully overcome your trauma? come share thanks

Remove dried thermal paste

hello guys, my laptop is nearly 4 years old, and it tends to heat very much. I'm not much tech guy, so before this I just ignore that and thought that is normal for a veteren laptop.

today I try to open my laptop (with video guide ) with thought to clean the air vent. when I try to have a look at my cpu, the thermal paste is dried already. like, cement already. I manage to scrape off some, but still have some residue. tomorrow I planned to buy thermal paste to replace them. but, I'm not sure about, do I need to fully remove everything of the dried compound? if yes, how do I do so without damaging my cpu and other electronic stuff in there? found on internet, people use alchohol etc. I found in garage sale that a seller is selling an ArctiClean Thermal Material Remover + ArctiClean Thermal Surface Purifier. do I need that? hope to get advice from expert here.

Recovering old PC

Hello everyone,
I'm an amatur in desktop. But, today I thought of recovering my old CPU, for my little bro to play some small games. The desktop thought to be broken, coz my sis actually said that when she dump that CPU in my house. So, there's some vacums going and cleaning I did. When I hit on switch on plug, not on the CPU itself, the CPU alive. So, I thought the CPU going fine. But, nope..

So, here's my diagnosis & questions. Hopes sifus here can help me identify problems
1. CPU's on switch doesn't hit yet, but the CPU already on (Based on fans spinning..)
2. There's power, so, I think the power supply unit is ok?
3. Processor's fan spins, does that means processor ok?
4. GPU's fan also spins, does that means GPU ok?
5. No signal on monitor. But it actually detects input. But blank.
6. I don't know any ways to detect if the HDD is the probs..

Can any sifus guide me here? Thanks a bunch
